Keith: do you think they'll be looking for downhole EM in hole 3 to improve the imaging on Great Red Spot and help guide the target for hole 4 or do they have enough already to plough on with hole 4 in the next week or two?

There's very little stock available to buy at the moment from MMs so all it needs is a few photos of core on twitter showing something sparkly and the SP will take off.

Dotted Lake drill kicked off 30th Sept albeit with a single shift crew, 400m depth, probably 540m length. Probably drilling 30m/day so the drill should be finished in the next week. Assays tend to take another month depending on the lab.

There are numerous targets although I don't have the anticipated target levels. Firstly identifying how the structure of the Karoo Gabbro compares to their geological models although Kav say this has been an area of weakness, secondly any mineralisation at the bottom of the Karoo gabbro. Then comparing the start of the Proterozoic level to models (Kav strong point), next the geology of the Proterozoic and then hopefully some downhole EM targeting both depth and width (hole 4 - the big one). Drilling started around 6pm on 27th Sept so its 14 days @c40m/day so they're around 500-600m at the moment?

Whilst Darren has been very active promoting PALM over the last year, I don’t think it’s been as effective as Ben Turney @ KAV. Look at the PALM drills, there's very little public data in terms of location, EM & TDEM to the point the drills look random & wildcat. I’m being unfair, it’s a competitive environment and you hope there’s 3D models under pinning the drills but the quality of info in tweets/website isn’t great. I thought the market would have reacted to the core photos on Twitter? Ok limitations without definitive assay tests which won’t be available until mid Nov to mid Dec, but I do think Darren could have given more technical information subject to warnings and caveats.

I am long and looking to add although I want a bit more reassurance via technical data.

Ben's oral presentation is outstanding, speaks fluently for 45 mins with no ums or rrs and is able to give detailed and incisive geological information. The presentation is better the 10 minute Jeremy Brett because it shows The Great Red Spot from the side in 3D. GRS1 didn't miss by much 200-400m and the latest views give a lot more confidence going into the B drills.

Are they saying the earlier Jeremy Brett drill was right in the centre of the red spot area but missed the true magnetic target due to technology limitations?

Then the small matter of a downhole electromagnetic ("EM") survey if it works this time.

Nobody knows how long the assay results will take to come back and it could be months away. Its taken 4 weeks to halve the core from hole 1 and then it needs transporting to SA/UK and they just don't know how long the lab work is going to take.

One snippet today from Bezant Resources "Although assay values in the Bezant holes were considerably lower than indicated by initial hand-held XRF core measurements," so whilst Ben has XRF on the first two KAV holes, he knows its too risky to put into the public domain.

In 4-5 weeks time they should be bang on hole B, 8,200 siemens and a large target vs 3000 siemens for A2.

Not sure why they posted an RNS other than to say PEA in the next 10 days which will say it’s a very large project and the world needs graphite.

Ella, they need to wait for Target B (2 drills) first which has an 8200 siemens reading which is indicative of massive sulphides before any new fundraising. From memory the first two hole targets had readings in range 2500-3000 which is entry level massive sulphides and Ben has been coy about the first drill even though they should have split the core by now and conducted XRP analysis, all he's said is there was evidence of sulphides.
