Considering that this stock has dropped 90% in a few weeks I would have said the opposite. Many here have bought large holdings that they could never have done at £6 plus.

Interesting, but does that not presuppose oil usage will stay the same throughout that period? Or that a higher oil price would make presently dormant oil resources exploitable? also that it would be impossible to search for oil within the rest of the west if all of those things came to naught? Won't happen tomorrow, but two or three years for the latter?

I don't think that it's stupidity at all. When a stock drops from £4.60 to £1.70 in a couple of weeks how would anybody ever know that not the bargain of a lifetime?
I bought more at 90p this morning and again at 74p this afternoon same amount of money, but nearly 20% more shares.
Who was to know? they were 100p for much of the morning!

(or whatever defines it as such within international law). Does The UK exploiting it's North Sea gas and oil "Cut the throat" of any of the European countries? Maybe that's another reason the russians invaded? After all are not they the aggressors? Were not Ukraine and the Donbas regions all one originally?

Whilst like you and most here, I too would like the dividend to be paid (as I assume the major shareholders do also) their focus I imagine will be on protecting the company (with it's greater value to all) going forward in these uncertain times. The idea of a dividend 'IOU' so to speak seems a valid one and could be the best of all worlds, allowing financial flexibility for the future.

Regarding put1n and further escalation the reason I don't see that happening is that without going nuclear (I think that the russian generals/Chinese would not allow that). I think that put1n realises that he would not win, simple as that. He realises that he would be deposed, tried and convicted. All of his recent gains would also be lost as the clock would be turned back on the other countries recently invaded. It seems that this conflict is showing that (in conventional arms terms at least) russ1a is not quite as powerful as most had supposed or feared.

I agree that the world situation has caused turbulence of many types around the globe and that in a way, even considering share values at a time like this when families are being displaced and murdered is/could be seen as cold in the extreme. My interest is mainly one of a technical nature, I do hold 22,000 odd shares but at a fairly low average price which I'm content with going forward. I'm not really into day trading much and see Evres as a keeper. This though does not stop one wanting to be forewarned as to what Monday may bring.

Yes, I agree that's what it seemed to do over the weekend. So, where did that 'Value' go? To me it was assigned to a embryonic company called Raspadskaya. This company was to be owned by all the Evres shareholders as of the noted date in a proportion relative to their Evres shareholding.
Do people agree with that?

I would have thought that protection against "Dirty bombs" being made and used or threatened to be used in major russ1an cities by a desperate Ukraine is a major factor. The ability to turn off the power and further weaken and impoverish the public is seen as a tool by the invaders also.

Very true, one indicator was the number of new posters <20 posts, invariably with negative unsubstantiated "news". I've seen it on other LSE boards a lot, there was less here till yesterday. Asking for evidence is always meet with silence.
