So this time last year when Stroll was going through the books, he could've walked away, especially with the virus coming up in his rear view mirror. But instead he tightened the deal terms & has imo as lth pulled off one of the most sensational turnarounds in the face of real time adversity. Look at where we're at in terms of mkt cap 2.2Bn & I think as the wider market wakes up in the new year to the implications of the MB / EVT deal, plus DBX evolution, a 12month target of 4.5-5Bn is realistic, coinciding nicely with entry into the Ftse 100 1st quarterly review 22. Typical understated Moers approach, hardly heard a syllable uttered by him since joining in August, until he's absolutely ready. Completely in control operationally, our money is in very assured hands. The wider market is waking up to the current mkt cap of Aston 1.9Bn & realising what's going to happen here.

Serious loading up here after hours & at this juncture in the calendar. Big money now getting involved. This is entering a new league. Bearing in mind it was only a year ago that Stroll was making his play for Aston before it ran aground. Some turnaround & he's hardly started with the doubling dice.

For any newcomers or those wondering how today's SP relates to the original IPO or indeed any of the stages on the journey since - just study Rox's analysis carefully. It's a masterpiece, just remember it whenever you read ill informed nonsense from those including some professional commentators' who should know better. By my reckoning AML is back to IPO valuation of £4.3Bn when SP hits c£38, which I now see as a distinct possibility during 2021. Jtini

My understanding of the US quote is that we're listed on the OTC market for the trading of ADR's. If & it's a big 'if' I'm thinking of NYSE where Ferrari (RACE) sits. Maybe way off the mark here but Stroll is a man who believes in delivering powerful messages that none of us have seen coming. One thing's for sure though - can't see anything but a stellar period ahead when you review what he has achieved already since January. This was heading for an iceberg. Not any more.

Stroll has consistently surprised us over the last year, he is the master of the art. I just wonder whether a dual UK US listing could be a possible in the future, maybe a couple of years time, along the lines of Ferrari's listing in both NY (current SP $214) & Milan. LS operates so out of the box that I wouldn't put anything past him.

Best when in doubt to always look back at some of our quality posters on here for a balanced view on things. How long they've been invested in AML for, what their posting history is like. My personal views on Stroll are unchanged, he thinks so many moves ahead that it is nigh on impossible to second guess him, but rest assured making Aston succeed is his life ambition & so works well for us too. I personally think that Ferrari offers a few clues with it's earnings in euros, yet with a NY listing currently at $214 SP & mkt cap $50Bn. Jtini

The reality is that Stroll is at least 6-7 RNS's ahead of the best guesser on here. For anyone into the The Queen's Gambit, he is the Canadian Grand Master of strategy. This is all consuming for LS, it is his absolute driving ambition to bring the prize home, that is why our money is so safe. Obvs LTH, Jtini

Bearing in mind the RNS of a year ago stating AML was 'engaged in early stage discussions with potential strategic investors in relation to building longer term relationships which may or may not involve an equity investment'. That sure was one way of putting it. So 12 months from now will this month's RNS' read as similarly startling in exactly what is going to transpire between now and then. Next stage that is coming imo £24.00 in new money Q1 2021. Jtini

For the record PaulOz & Cars bring great knowledge about the F1 & racing tie up. No way is Stroll using AML solely to finance his on track ambitions. A. He doesn't need to, do we really think he would stitch up all the Yew Tree consortium investors for what he could easily achieve from his own resources. B. Important, I believe, yes LS is a master of brand value, but this is about much more. He has a deep understanding of the marque & it's place in making future history, & hence the opportunity to leverage these assets, probably unsurpassed anywhere in plc stewardship. As an avid Ferrari collector, Stroll understands the potential value with Aston if nurtured correctly. Plus coupled with his business acumen. Remember when we were reading about the battle against Geely back in January Stroll was already many moves ahead, he has game played this to another level that we can only guess at. Jtini

Many on this board have been on the arduous climb, who can forget that day when we were all suspended like climbers dangling on a safety rope at 28. Prolonged periods in the 40s & 50s when our sanity was being questioned by a number of pop up snipers. Now in the 70s which admittedly has a feelgood factor about it, I truly believe we are going to embark on a hugely rewarding next part of the ascent. LS is a visionary, AML will define his life & business story. So much hard slog & belief invested here all the way down from Stroll to us mere dots on the horizon, this is the one share I don't dare trade in & out, total conviction. Obvs LTH. Jtini

The Times 26.11.2023 'Lawrence Stroll today signed a new 10 year deal with Mercedes Benz worth annually exactly the precise amount he himself pumped into the car maker just under 4 years ago. Next year's new Bond film, title to be released, will feature the car maker's DBX in a spectacular Alpine chase scene surpassing everything experienced to date. This caps a year where AML has been promoted to the FTSE 100 & tops off a spectacular series of successes both for the mainstream business & in F1 for Mr Stroll.' Jtini

Any newcomers here welcome - if unsure how current SP relates to IPO, look right back through Rox's early posts to see the effects of Dilution I & II. Forthcoming consolidation will further complicate comparisons. But, Stroll has top to toe deep cleaned this business, it is ready for the next stage of it's ascendancy. Make no mistake LS has Ferrari's (RACE on NYSE) valuation imprinted deep on his personal mission statement, currently at $50Bn mkt cap with last year's earnings €700m.
Remember the recent AML business plan has stated a target of an adjusted EBITDA of approximately £500 million by financial years 2024 / 2025. OK we're not going to £50Bn overnight but the previously fanciful IPO value of £4Bn is going to be achieved far sooner than we think. Obvs LTH, Jtini

Please tell me you still have an interest here Rox. For anyone new to the board unsure how SP relates to the original IPO after dilution I & II, look back on Rox's posts. He produced a serious piece of work and very valuable to remember it whenever reference is made anywhere to the original IPO price of £19. Respect.

Stroll will imo be looking next to proceed with a consolidation, way too many shares out there, & the logic will be to reduce volatility whilst making trading in the new shares attractive to a wider range of institutional investors. However what we know of LS so far on this journey is that he likes powerful statements of intent, & delivers them when we're least expecting it. The signs to date are that just as your ears feel about to pop with the deafening silence up comes the RNS. So I think consolidation plus another surprise to be revealed together. For the record haven't sold a single one of my shares because my gut feeling is that Stroll is our man to take us to riches, it's his life ambition to make this work, and will define him. For all his incredible success with Michael Kors he will want to go down in history as head of one of the world's leading luxury automobile and EV brands. Nothing else he's achieved compares, he lives & breathes this.

If Stroll can pull off what he has done in the midst of the corona war can you imagine what he'll be like when things return to normal. Too much going on globally this week for what was really a stunning piece of news, but with a bit of market calm this is going to roar.

Anyone heard of Zelon Holdings, Sounds like something out of Bond. Meanwhile they've stumped up £30m so must be a well heeled family!
