Getting worried now, I'm agreeing with everything you say!
I am not a chartist, but neither am I not a chartist (if that's not too bonkers). In a 'steady state' without significant broader market fluctuations or share specific news then charts can give insight into what I see as 'psychological' fluctuations due to the actions of short and medium term investors. But not at the moment I agree.

And I wish the code didn't look like POOP. Its off putting.
Seriously the market isn't helping here, but its also still finding its 'level' after the listing, the price of which is always a best guess.
Euphoria initially took it up, as often happens, then it bounced around and then got hit by this current turmoil. There looks to be a good business here, I do expect to be investing soon. GLA

I expect an RNS will need to be quality checked before release. Don't think it would be rushed out even though the news is likely to affect SP

My only point of disagreement is that Russia is fast becoming a pariah state. It IS a pariah state. I hope for the ordinary Russian citizens sake that they get sufficient accurate information to realise that the sanctions are justified not part of a Western power play, and that they depose that psychopath. It is the only way to re integrate Russian into the world - waiting for his natural demise will imply compliance on their part. I am nearly 65, and cannot see a return to the previous relationships with Russia in my lifetime at the moment.

Certainly has put a rocket in the SP, in fact cant get a quote other than a trivial amount. Hopefully the parties will take the view that it was business, not personal, and get on with it

What is the consensus about what will happen to the Rosneft stake? Assuming it is not simply confiscated by Putin and his puppets will BP hold onto it as an asset on the balance sheet, albeit at a conservative value?

My lucky escape was Hyve, which I had a very profitable relationship when it was called ITE, quite a few years back. I bought back in after they had a fraught time and renamed themselves. They have a lot of connection with Eastern Europe, so mid February I decided to exit with a small profit. Now their SP is well less than half, and I wont be rushing back unless they exit their Russian connections. The world has changed in respect of Russia's relationship with the West, and that change is likely to persist for the rest of my life (I'm an old fogey).

But in this weak market the decline is inevitable.
Reminds me of the expression 'squeeze till the pips squeak'. Well I don't know about anyone else but my pips are squeaking louder than they have in a very long time.

I have been watching and investing in commodity miners for some time, and thought I had missed the boat with Tharisa, but was lucky enough to buy 3 lots last September on a dip. No skill, just luck.
I know a little about the company but nothing compared to others on this BB. Funny how boards vary, but this is a good one.
Like others my only regret is that the current SP buoyancy is a result of conflict and suffering, likely to result major long term drop in marketable palladium from Russia due to sanctions. But we can't change that, and as far as I can see Tharisa is blameless. At least that's how I resolve continuing to hold.

Ouch. Continues. Drop the best part of twice that of, for instance, the FTSE250 in the same period. Anyone got any theories?

Interesting figures. The 'Ukraine situation' isn't just the past week and a bit.
Really has been brewing since December last, since which Platinum is up about 25% and Palladium more like 50%. Production costs haven't changed that much so the gearing implies a bottom line effect of great than those numbers. Just wish it wasn't for such a crappy reason

Leave with 30%? Didn't I see somewhere that if a value cannot be agreed that it goes to arbitration? Does GGP have the ultimate right to refuse to sell?

I agree, different investors will think different things. I've been here a couple of months, am not 'wedded' to GGP and I would probably see 40p as a very nice way to triple my investment. But I understand the position of the longer term investors and bb contributors, and have been 'into' other companies in the same way (don't mention Bacanora Lithium!!!!)

On the face of it fairly positive, the only downside being FY 2022 EBITDA being at the lower end of expectations due to volumes affected by production downtime. I find that a slightly odd statement as the downtime was planned so would have been factored into any estimate?

Don't post here often as it is not a company I have researched deeply. I have to admit to being happy with the SP progress since I bought, wish now I'd dived in a little deeper here! GLA, impressed with posters knowledge and opinions here.

At the moment the shares have reached a point where they are sinking daily so that even interested parties like me are sitting on their hands. Better to miss the bottom and buy on the way up again than try to catch a falling knife, as a lower entry point will almost certainly be achieved.

Certainly is. Well apart from losing over 10% if its MC in a week!
