POG looking good, no doubt due to all this market weakness and uncertain outlook.
Looking at the following should give an average gold price slightly higher last quarter than the immediately previous one:

They are, of course, 'gee whizz' graphs as the scales don't start at 0 so they accentuate the movements. Overall though looking good for the last quarters result. Smiley face for the New Year.

Yes I think it is possible, though I have read others posting here who think the Spirit deal complicates matters. I don't think that is necessarily the case.
I would probably be unhappy if a bid happened before it is established beyond question that GLA is one accumulation - that would have a significant effect on reserves and hence value (although there is a danger that Lancaster and Halifax prove to be separate, though Dr T thinks not).
In its favour would be bringing forward the capitalisation of the project, much to the benefit of us old fogeys.

We all get Christmas thrust down our necks from October onwards, great for people with friends and large families. Terrible for the remainder for whom it just highlights that they are lonely and isolated, and lessen their perceived worth. I doubt 50% of the people I know truly 'like' Christmas. A girlfriend of mine described it as 'enforced enjoyment day'.

I just heard that the toaster has broken.
They have sent Seaman Stains out to the Rotterdam Argos, apparently its open until 5 today.

Have been good. Back to yoghurt and fruit for brekky and then cycled to the gym.
POG seems settled about $1280 but I notice silver still looking strong.
SP is pretty much keeping to its new level - bit disappointing in a way as I was half planning to add some in January!
