Like all keep I reading the text to interpret, and I do like the last line. As well as confirming 20000 bopd, Dr T says he is looking forward to updating at the CMD. You don't look forward to presenting something damaging to your lifes dream.... such as finding unwanted you know what whose source is from somewhere worrying rather than benign. He could have just reminded that the CMD presentation was forthcoming or not mentioned CMD at all

You are one of the few posters that I always take note of but this is a difficult RNS for posters to get their head round. I am struggling to work out the implications of the RNS was it is phrased and I don't need to go back to school. The RNS can be read that GWA is being hibernated and more 'ifs' about future developments have crept in than I have seen before.

Many people don't know what to make of this. Including me. On first quick reading I thought 'oh my gawd'
Second reading not quite as bad, seems like HUR is accepting that we now have a recalcitrant JV partner and is trying to keep it alive while imposing the original conditions if the original aims are achieved. I don't hold out much hope for the successful Lincoln well (Crystal?) which I assume will be P&A.
Dunno, I suggest that Spirit was a poor choice of partner which I suspect some others would agree with.

Without looking it up (because I'm a bit busy) I would imagine that the directors share options are well out of the money at the moment. So if he did want to move on he may as well at the moment as realistically I don't think many of us expect a dramatic SP recover imminently . It is worrying about the timing though with so much due in the next month.
