Ah, I was being sarcastic. Nah, no way I want this consolidated as that is usually the death knell for companies. But, at sub 2p I am certainly regretting not bailing after the permit/award last year.

This stock needs to be consolidated. One way to bump the SP and simultaneously signal that the chances of recovering your investment are as likely as hell freezing over. Big up Doublethink!

I don't think I have had such a calamitous result as when I decided to up my stake in Arian and then see £2000 turn into £1.76.

Hmmm... maybe a bit too early in the day but this does not seem to be following general optimism in the markets today. A 66% rise from the recent base of 15p may be very tempting for anyone entering at basement level.

I don't know how old MC, JM et al are.
I do know how old I am and I am younger than the above
I also know that nobody lives forever and after 12 years of this I would have guessed that those further along the path of life (and therefore much closer to death than me) would want to sell this up PDQ and enjoy some of the rewards.

I don't recall reading anything about shares being cancelled. I'm sure not the only one questioning why buy back shares are not cancelled. Or have I missed something?

Ides of March! Yeah but on Friday it's St Patrick's Day and everyone will be overwhelmed with Irish Optimism and the markets will bounce back.....maybe?

Just selling an asset could mean re-investing and only part of the sale being returned to share holders: not sure after 13 years many LTH's would be happy with that.

I also hold BEM and have watched it go from 2p to 70p, back down to 5p then a brief spike to 20p last year when mining concession granted. Current SP? 2.2p.

Despite frustration with CNR I don't agree with dissing the MC. The company is still alive (many explorers mentioned here have folded in past 13 years) and he is still in post. BEM is on its second CEO.

After 13 years I'd like to see CNR sold lock stock and barrel. Not interested in special divi or equity in another parent company. I want out.

A buy back to keep shares in treasury to award to directors at a later date is not returning capital to shareholders IMO, no?
A buyback only works in our favour if the shares are cancelled, surely?
Why not just award themselves fat cash bonuses or is there some tax efficiency wheeze going on here.

Hmmmm - you can bet the house that the 2 non- binding offers are low ball offers to see if the BoD of CNR has lost patience/interest.
Only up 10% in the morning. Let' see if this can hold its gains for more than a few hours.
After 13 years - I expect more than this and remain deeply sceptical. I'm holding out cos I no point crystallising a 50% loss and I don't need the money yet:

Yuh, if the grades and recovery rates were so good way back in --- 2012? then maybe they should have started producing. I recall the recovery rates of Au from sediment using gravitation were pretty good which meant less emphasis on chemical leaching. Can't remember what the plan for waste water was tho' .
I mean, jeeez, I couldha' gone on holiday to Nic with a pan and extracted more gold by hand than this bunch have managed over the past 10 years.
