Ditto here - bit of a shambles, eh? Just as well I'm not expecting squillions of spondulicks as a divi - maybe the equivalent of a gallon or two of diesel

I've been mulling stuff over - usually, when there is a sale I am tempted to buy stuff - like many others. On the other hand when the stockmarket drops and prices fall I can't but feel a tinge of panic and wanting to bale out. Odd how the stock market tends to tempt panic selling as opposed to taking the opportunity to grab a bargain. That said, I'll think I'll wait a while until the World comes to it senses.

I was having the yips over this but have decided to endure the white knuckle ride. I was casting my mind back to the invasion of Ukraine and Covid and markets seemed to collapse quickly - this time feels different - feels like it is a slow (bit not that slow) puncture. I'm going to hang on as after the drops caused by Ukraine and Covid things recovered and I don't need to cash out any time soon. Time is on my side - sure, I may miss a trading opportunity - probably missed that already. I don't have life changing amounts invested - probably enough for a decent family holiday or a week's worth of domestci gas supply. Wish you all good luck.

I got some boxing gloves as well. When is this meal? I'd prefer to get the fighting done before eating a meal tbf.

I'm rather pleased with this impulsive buy about 4 months ago on nothing more solid that having this as one of my picks in a fantasy portfolio game when it was about 10p (ish) and then deciding to have a punt on the basis of an advancing share price.

Any one got ay good vibes for the week ahead? Or, just the usual oscillations in SP

Anyhoooos - my horizon is Q4 to see if any gold gets poured from La India - hopefully gold price will be stable (at these levels for as long as Trump occupies the White House)

They have never ever worked for me - I seem to have a knack of calling the bottom and then buying in again on the rebound. In the grand scheme of things I've tried to be clever but fortunately have not lost out hugely. In my case the lesson learnt is hold your nerve unless it looks like company is tanking - then it's usually too late. Arian Silver being my low point and BEM serving as a constant reminder to get out when fortune turns around briefly

I don't have exposure to silver, following a rather disastrous foray into Arian (ACQ) a few years back but keep looking at FRES and HOC and keep wondering when the stellar rise in silver will stop? I guess so long as we are determined to use more and more solar panels there will be demand for it?

Any guesses /predictions for silver?

I mean, years ago when various goldbugs were predicting $5K an oz for gold my view was 'yertight - $2K an oz is far enough away' and look where we are now - whoddathunkit (unless you're a goldbug I guess).

Well, I do struggle with this one (Former CNR anguished spirt now very happy) and keep wondering if I should add to what I already hold. I had another go at 10p and told myself "that's it" and now I am starting to suffer from FOMO of even bigger returns.

Any former CNR'ers suffering the same dilemma on here? I can't help but think this is "too good to be true territory"

Ahhh the perennial mystery - I just think these are something to do with automated trading. I used to think it was some sort of sinister inside trading signalling scchtikk - but came to the conclusion that was unlikely.

I think it was a few years ago someone was predicting 4000p. "Fat chance!" I thought but was happy with the ups and downs and general upward trajectory despite being caught occasionally by the odd stop loss and then buying back in. I seem to have just recycled the same amount of money (+divs) and must say I am rather pleased: cue implosion of SP.
