I'm expecting the results next week so heading into the nos sellers have had the upper hand by c.3:1 today. Make of that what you will. To date this week their have been around 41,000 sells to 33,000 buys, shares down 20 on the week so far.

Not exactly a ringing affirmation of buy, buy, buy!

Nevertheless if the nos have been leaked and afterall this is Aim so one cannot discount that you have a head start with one day to go. People talk about nos being leaked all the time but I've never been convinced.

I have no idea as to how secure the final nos are and how many people get to see the data pre release. I doubt outside of the CEO & Finance Director there are many more as the opportunity to bluff the mrkt is very easy. Not long to wait.

Hope your right DT as this has been one of my core holdings leaving me in the red atm. As a lth by conviction I'm not worried by the daily ups'n downs as hopefully they get smoothed out over time........

Falls below 1000 soon be another good opportunity to add or top up. Sellers in charge despite buyers outpacing them. Yer typical Aim trading moves.....ignore, keep the faith!

Britain's unloved Stock

Mrkt enjoyed a brief reprieve yesterday as investors piled in £317m into equity funds last month. Figs published yesterday showed London listed shares enjoyed inflows for the first time since May 2021.

However it barely made a dent in the £25BN pulled out since then, leaving the trend in place heading into 2025. The London mrkt has struggled to attract floatations in a declining mrkt. Figs show 45 companies have delisted from

London this year, up 10% on last year while just 10 either joined the LSE or Aim.

The exodus is set to continue as Royal Mail awaits approval to leave and Britvic is being acquired by Carlsberg. Only yesterday digital training group Learning technologies agreed a £802m takeover by a US private equity firm.

Britain has many small innovative world class businesses and this is where investors need to concentrate on as that's where the future lies.

Wall's major averages all climbed to new record closing highs after ending mixed for the 2 previous sessions. Investors chose to shrug off global political turmoil the latest case being France where the Govt fell.

Back on safer ground the Nsdq led advances across the broader mrkt with a 263 points gain. A significant dip in bond yields to a months low injected further optimism into the trading atmosphere.

On the DJI (14/30) stocks declined led down by Nike, JPMC & GS while heading higher Nvidia, Boeing, Salesforce & Amazon all had a positive trading session supported by retail investors who continued to pile into Nvidia up $5 to $145, retaining its no 2 spot behind Apple in the league of bigest company stakes.

Fed Chair Powell flagged strength in the economy saying it was in a better place than it appeared in Sept. The Fed next meet on Dec 17&18 where traders expect he will announce the last 25bp cut in rates for 2024. Sentiment and risk appetite has been enhanced by Powell's handling of the economy this year.

A strong economic backdrop with low unemployment and robust GDP growth is expected to drive mrkts higher during 2025 with some strategists calling the S&P at 6600 and the Dow at 50,000 by year end, if not before.

Ed Yardeni a longtime bull of the mrkt expounds that 10's of million baby boomers are set to spend nest eggs on all kinds of goods and services that will push the S&P and DJI to 8000 & 60,000 by 2030.

Morning all.

On Wall St stocks closed on a mixed note though techs had a good session hitting new all-time highs along with the 500. The S&P recorded its best month in a year capping off a stellar Nov for equities climbing 342 points. Investors await a packed week for economic data inc private and non farm payrolls and manufacturing activity.

Concerns over a broader trade war capped regional gains after Trump's threat of 100% tariff on BRICS countries if they pursue new currency alternatives to the USD. He threatened a 100% tariff on the bloc of 9 countries if they undercut the USD.

The Dow slipped 129. Of the 30 only 12 stocks rose led by Apple, Amazon & Msoft. Heading down Amgen, JPMC & Honeywell led the laggards. Intel stock ($24) barely moved after CEO Gelsinger retired following the companies struggles to keep up in the mrkt for Ai chips. The stock is down 50% this year.

Super Micro Computer surged 29% to $44 after the company was cleared of being involved in any fraud or misconduct. Having lost its Auditors and been threatened with de- listing from Nsdq the company is now back on track. The stock hit a high of $116 in March '24.

Morning all.

Not a subject I worry or think about but when did we last have a really icy cold winter? Not for quite a few years I think and we had coal supplies back then to fire up boilers.

Given our slow coach approach to nuclear thanks to idiot Millipede and his green obsession, what would happen if we had to have a 3 day week with power cuts and rationing of electricity?

Oh well the wind will blow so we'll be alright unless Thieves finds another black hole in our wind finances she can blame on the last Govt.

Asian mrkts are trading mostly higher this morning as traders and investors pick up stocks at reduced levels after the pull back seen last week.

They also remain confident that the Fed will cut 25bp in December.

In Tokyo the 225 has regained early losses closing up 279 as heavyweights, financials & motors are on investor buy lists. Sydney is boosted by iron ore and financials the ASX200 closing up 12 at 8412 taking the ytd gain to 11%.

HK and Shanghai are both flat to slightly better while Pan Pacifica's are mixed on lack of local interest. Singapore leads the way in the Indonesia / Malaysia region trading up 16% this year, KL up 10% and Indonesia down 2% as palm oil exports are down on last year. Biodiesel is expected to make up the shortfall in the years ahead as the acreage increases to meet demand.

Morning all.

Sellers gave up in frustration today unable to stem the buying fervour from investors

deciding the stock was oversold and overdue a re-reate. Only 2 sell trades went through the ticker out of 34 which must be a record for a days trade.

Consequently buyers had the field to themselves pushing the shares up 55 on the session closing at mid 1035 still below the intra-day ytd high of 1136.

Rumours of a much increased order book & good H/Y nos are doing the rounds of investor blogs which bodes well for the up'coming H1 nos.

Asian mrkts are mixed this morning after US mrkts were closed yesterday for Thanksgiving. US mrkts will open for a half day today.

In HK & Shanghai mrkts are ahead as investors look forward to major Govt planning meetings to boost spending. Both mrkts up around 1%. The Nikkei slipped on news inflation at 2•6% in Nov was up from 1•8% last month which hurt exporters. Data on retail sales and employment also pointed to a slowdown in economic activity.

Mrkts in Pan Pacifica and Australia are down in directionless trading while Taiwan inched ahead 80 at the close.

Morning all.

Yea I agree on a Full year basis the sp should be c.1500 but as we know Aim mrkts run to a different drum beat than the big ftse stocks hence the opportunity to profit or lose by jobbers mispricing shares.

Some say at 980 the stock is hugely undervalued. For instance Simply Wall St reckons MSi is trading at 98% below their fair estimate value. Much will depend on the mrkts reaction to the H1 nos.

Having worked myself into a bearish state I forsee a muted response though I still hold knowing my forecasts are usually out of the money. I'm good at sitting on the fence.

Wall St gave back some ground during trading yesterday the 500 snapping a 7 session consecutive winning streak. Other major indexes fell back the Nsdq falling 178 as big tech ran into concerted selling. On the Dow 18 of the top 30 fell led by Nvidia, Msoft & Salesforce. Disney & Boeing led the risers.

The ceasefire deal between Hezhbolla and Israel had no impact on Asian mrkts which closed mixed to lower with the Nikkei down 338 and Sydney off 58.

Morning all.

As a long term buyer I'm always keen to see sellers dumping their shares. I have no interest as to their motives which diametrically oppose mine, suffice to say I hope i'm on the upward path while the sellers scratch their heads as to their next move!

I have added and will cont to do so if the mrkt continues to try and shake loose holders out.....
