For the birds talk of a fundraise at 1p etc - the Directors all bought in at c2.2p, so they will want considerably more than that in any fundraise (if its needed).

Exactly. This new role is about design and development of future products so they must have a high degree of confidence in the current commercial journey of their existing tests.

You wouldn't be hiring so many staff unless a) you knew you had funds to pay for them and b) you weren't confident of the future.

Well the key word is 'currently'- hopefully when the pilot study concludes at the end of next month, funding will follow.

Given the Directors purchases in mid December, its no surprise there have been no updates since on sales or approvals etc. But we can expect several positive updates next month such as the Scottish rollout, CYP2C19 CE-IVD certification progress and any significant sales. SP depressed at around 2p now but we will be in a very different place in a months time in my opinion.

Yes I think we should start seeing some updates and positive news soon. The Scottish roll out is at the mercy of the Scottish Gvt and the funding timetable but I expect that to be confirmed sometime in March.

Hopefully the Scottish Gvt will approve funding for the roll out of both tests very soon. I think we are about to witness an avalanche of good news (all digits crossed).

I have exchanged emails with the project manager within the Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) in the NHS who is currently working on the Pharmacogenetics Programme which includes both the Stroke Clopidogel Genetic Test and Genetic hearing loss test in Scotland - she told me she is hopeful that funding would be approved for both tests soon.

Agreed Jimi but really the person that has the most visibility of the cash runway is the CFO....who just happened to invest 22k of his own money in purchasing 1m shares a few weeks ago. That's a very obvious signal in my book that there is no imminent fundraise or if there needs to be at some point in the future, he is very confident it will be done at a lot higher price than his purchase of 2.2p (which just happens to be the current ask price today).

I personally think the company won't be here in 2-3 years due to a bid. As soon as the commercial journey starts in earnest (hopefully in q2 2025), this will be a very attractive proposition for a bigger player.

Gloria...you do realise that we are not a drugs company? The companies tests ensure that the right drug is given. That's not what the article was about. The company's tests will also save the NHS money and meets one of the gvts new NHS priorities of adopting the latest technology etc.
