I've read somewhere this is due for AIHL in April. Does anyone know whether this is indeed still the case??

I've read a lot of rubbish on this chat board over the last week or so but to suggest the Directors all bought shares in Dec (some c25k worth) to appease shareholders is really for the birds!

What I dont understand is if the company (as some people suggest) are imminently going to raise funds through a placing why have they been hiring new staff (4 I think this year) - could do they really do this if they were concerned around their financial viability? I personally dont think so.

We're also due by end March news on CE IVD certification. Again a very significant milestone for European sales.

I agree...the language used suggests they are very confident that the other UK nations will adopt the same approach imminently.

Think we should get a RNS in the next day or so confirming this milestone contract / roll out across a country.

I wonder if this national roll out in Scotland will now mean specialist commissioning will happen quicker in England? The test was created and funded in England, yet the Scottish Gvt have rolled it out first!

Are we likely to get a RNS on Monday from the company on the roll out??

Am sure the POC stroke test will be part of this Scottish rollout as smaller hospitals serving remote and rural areas will experience problems accessing lab testing and there are only four regional genetic testing centres in Scotland and they are under pressure to deliver urgent cancer genetic testing priorities.

Stocksaint....I don't think a fundraise is inevitable. The Directors collectively all bought in recently at c2.2p, so why would they do this if they thought a fundraise was imminent? Also the company has been hiring new staff in q1, again why would they do this if they weren't comfortable with their financial position without needing new funds? I also think non dilutive funding options could be on the table if required esp if the outcome of the stroke pilot is favourable. Just my thoughts.

Agree Jimi. Loads of news due which should propel the SP. I think we should have more updates next week. Although it was a disappointing SP reaction today, this was very significant news today in terms of the first hospital using the test outside of the pilot. You would have to assume others are in the pipeline.

Guy it's the first hospital to use the test in routine use outside of the pilot, so very significant indeed. Let's hope there are many others in the pre-implementation stage.

This is excellent news and note this has already been implemented....there will be others in the pipeline, some close to implementation as well.

Absolutely this is good news for GDR - emphasis now on innovation, latest technology and speeding up regulatory approvals.

Stocksaint..can you elaborate please on why it is your understanding the evidence has to be generated on US soil as opposed to using the current evidence generated in the UK trial? Do you know someone in the FDA?
