I think 1.5p will be the bottom and only upside from here given the amount of positive commercial newsflow due. Worth remembering too that last year the SP rose from 1.5p to 5.5p (albeit v briefly) in less than three months.

Yes that's one of the positive news updates we should have in April in terms of the new sites . I seem to recall somewhere that they will include Wales and Northern Ireland.

Despite the gloom of the fundraise last week, we should see a really strong SP rally with all the news due over the next few weeks.

Seems to have been a huge buy of 2.5m yesterday on the bell at 1.55p. Hopefully someone loading up to make a bid.

They can only take it private if shareholders vote for it, which I assume they won't?

I've been a consistent supporter of the company over the years but I am starting to feel that the best option now is a sale to a major. I'd take 5p.

Totally agree Lionel re Wallbrook. I have asked Gino several questions over the last few months and he just fobs me off to wallbrook who just provide a vanilla answer as if they don't even know what Genedrive do. I am hoping we get a date v soon for the investors presentation as Gino and Russ need to offer some answers to some uncomfortable questions!

Assume we will be having an investor presentation soon? I think Gino will need to impart he is the right person to take the company forward. Clearly q1 has not gone as well as they hoped when the Directors bought in at c2.2p in Dec so I am hoping he gives a inspired performance to soothe all concerns.

The funding question was the prime reason of the sluggish sp despite two good RNS' re Peterborough and Scotland. Now that is sorted, we should see a pick up in the next few days and weeks.

Now funding is sorted, the SP should rally over the next few weeks especially with all the pipeline news due that is outlined in the half year report.

I agree the future is bright...any suggestion of the possibility of non dilutitive (if needed) funding will rocket the SP too.

I honestly don't think they would be hiring new roles at 65k if they weren't confident about their financial position - to me this means there is no imminent fundraise as this couldn't be guaranteed to succeed (as they always say with AIM fundraises) so it would not be responsible to play with peoples careers unless you were sure you could afford them over the coming months and years.
