Reading your posts seems to indicate that at this time next year flying anywhere will be extinct because all the airlines have gone tits up. Is this what you are saying?

The choice to fly to the Canaries will be dictated to by the Spanish. The airlines can be as ready as they want but it won’t matter a jot. I own a villa there and I don’t expect to open the front door until no earlier than mid October. The Spanish have suffered big time with the virus. No way will they take a chance of starting the whole process again. I have quite a few neighbours over there who chose to stay during the lockdown and from what they tell me conditions are very strict.

Now Doug you need not waste anymore time attempting to get a refund. Ryanair’s policy is very clear. No refunds will be paid until this business is over and then you have to join a queue. A voucher can be obtained now to use later or you can rebook as long as the date is well into the future. Pretty clear eh.

Doug. What is ridiculous is that you feel the need to waste your time writing 3 posts saying sweet FA. The reason they gave you for the delay is a perfectly acceptable reason and I fail to see your problem. As for claiming interest at zero % and a couple of free calls , good luck. The cancellation of an existing order for new aircraft is a very big decision. This decision will have to made by EasyJet with Airbus and Ryanair with Boeing. Prices and delivery dates have been agreed and contracts signed. There will of course be cancellation clauses. Now there are very big orders for the Max and 320 family of aircraft and any order cancellation puts you at the back of the queue. It is pretty obvious that the cost of airline ticket prices will rise so will the cost of new aircraft. The new aircraft are so much more fuel efficient and acquiring them in normal times makes a lot of sense. A very big decision indeed has to be made.

I have stayed clear of commenting on this site mainly because all investors are suffering and I am sick to the back teeth of reading posts from the likes of that clown Sage who must spend most of his life on the prayer mat hoping Easy goes tits up.
The main players left in the holiday and low cost flights only sector will survive and once this thing is sorted prosper. Fares will rise, new aircraft acquisition will be put on the back burner and hopefully the price of oil will remain reasonably low.
If the UK has a bad summer every man and his dog will want to jump on a plane and find some sun. All of course in my opinion.
I live in South Africa and we to are on Lockdown for three weeks like the UK. The difference seems to be the conditions. We are only allowed out for food and medical supplies, no jogging, walking the dog, buying booze or fags and the police and army are everywhere making sure the conditions are adhered to. Result is we have had 9 deaths in total. Check flightradar and see the traffic over the whole of Africa and compare it with Europe and the States. Maybe for once Africa has got it right. We shall see. Enjoy the sun today and don’t venture out. It works.

Where has this pond life appeared from? Doug, smithy, Robinson and skier. 3 months ago they had never heard of EasyJet. Professional derampers hoping to get the weak to panic. I hate to say this but I agree with my nemesis Sage on this. Pity he is not invested.

Unfortunately in the airline industry it is survival of the fittest and Flybe were weak. Running a profitable airline is as difficult as it gets and the many casualties world wide over the years proves this. The strong players can take the knocks such as oil price fluctuation, accidents and now the virus. Easy and Ryanair are equipped to ride these bumps and will survive although the profit margin will take a hit from time to time. I see the remaining players profiting slightly from Flybe's demise but more than likely most of the routes will no longer be serviced and will disappear.
This will be a sad day for a lot of households but it was a case of when it would happen and not if.

Skier you are on a par with the media. I really regret Brexit being off the front page as something had to fill the void. I will guarantee no flight flew out of Luton yesterday with that number of no shows. I think we can all do without blatant lies during this sensitive period.

I need a bit of help here. David Papworth ceased to be a director of WHET 09/01/18. The confirmation statement dated 07/08/19 and released yesterday is signed by the very same David Papworth. Am I missing something?

Man TTBW is that the best you can come up with the parable of the train crash. I am asking for facts and reasons why WRN/WHET will be around in say six months time. Who are you by the way?
