From a personal view I can confirm timber prices have shot up and many items are difficult to get hold of. Ive recently renovated my garden from scratch and can attest to fencing prices going up and a 3 month wait on a wendy house I purchased purely due to a timber shortage/demand.

My only reservation would be as winter comes less people will be doing home improvements. Therefore less demand in theory means timber prices falling a bit form the highs.

OFC it speculation but if VAL is up 30-40% or so then surely PYC should see a rise too.

15 mins ago PYC was at 7p and break even for the day it now about to hit 9p.

This was just me pointing out an oddity in the markets based on the rumour being shared.

Im watching PYC live now and it is pretty much break even for the day. Surely you would expect at least a 20% move considering VALs 'news'

If this move is based on VAL201 results then why hasn't PYC price rocketed too? Considering they get a cut of the licensing income?

Pfizer or Moderna are the vaccines planned for use before Trumps re-election.

Rushed vaccines with not enough data/evidence for their safety will likely get EUA from a corrupt FDA. The vaccine companies are so worried about potential side effects and long term damage it was signed into law by Trump a person has no legal avenue to sue the companies.

Some seriously clever people have taken pictures of SARS-CoV-2 in lung cells.

Trump just wants the vaccine ready before re-election to claim a victory. The sad thing is the FDA is no longer basing decisions on good science, it is now just a political organisation doing Trumps bidding. Even on little evidence or solid trail results a vaccine will likely be approved similar to EUA for plasma.

The medical world is very worried about the lack of integrity and credibility of the FDA and many have called for D Hahns resignation. I would expect fierce resistance to an early vaccine.

Short answer is no.

If there is a 2nd wave and the death counts starts going up. How many parents are going to leave their kids in school to catch Covid-19 and possibly the flu at the same time?

No one will care what the government/their scientists says as no sane person trusts them. A panic will occur and kids will be taken out of the firing line. IMO :)
