Indeed very sad and scary. There is more research world wide now going into recording reinfections as its still completely unknown if we get lasting antibodies to the virus to prevent it reoccuring. Hopefully it not like flu or common cold where we will keep catching it.

Interesting that vaccines also only provide a couple months immunity too from the many news stories on the web.

A 25 yr old patient in Nevada has a confirmed case of #COVID19 reinfection (48 days apart between 1st and 2nd PCR).

This time, unlike the case in Hong Kong, the immune system did not protect this person from reinfection or disease.

Yes currently all UK locations but that can change very quickly.

The primary end point is 'estimated' to be 01 Feb 2021. It is estimated that the size of each of the Pivotal phases (hospital and home) will be around 100 to 300 patients per arm. The actual number will be determined after the data review at the end of each of the Pilot phases.

The key thing we need to hear next is are we going to be added to the recovery trial in the UK and are we going to expand to USA/Brazil etc to target more of the home trial people (as updake in UK has been poor). This could well speed things up.

The change looked to be made yesterday on the 27th late on as I normally check it most mornings.

to do a Pivotal phase

Trump has in his Covid-19 meetings categorically told the world he is happy to use another countries therapy or test if it brings great results.

Like a sado ive watched all of his press briefings due to being invested in many covid related stocks ;/

I dont think this was a shake just day traders selling from high of the day.

It certainly is a step in the right direction however the test still needs you to visit a Doctor or nurse to have it performed.
