Yes think you are right this new flow battery isn't vanadium or Lithium based. Best guess from the article it could be be cobalt based.

Encouraging though that flow batteries are being looked into by the big players.

Its very beneficial Synairgens phase 2 trial has many elements/attributes of a phase 3 trial inbuilt. Is it possible our phase 2 trial with the higher patient numbers than cytodyns will be enough for approval then?

What seems like a long time ago now I too checked the patents and thought they looked like a weak point for Synairgen but im no expert in law.

The patents you can check out on the websites have plenty of ambiguity in the wording and to me didn't appear as robust as they could be. Bear in mind these are old patents originally for COPD and ashma / ILI so don't refer directly to Covid19.

I think Ghia may be right, I suspect there is already a updated patent in the pipeline or the patent has already been checked it holds up in law. May be worth contacting that woman from consilium, I forget her name and asking the question for peace of mind.
