Thanks Mike, but this has always been the situation...... some suggestions were raised a couple of years ago that PG11a was maybe good enough to stick straight in the grid, but I think that has been proved false in the oeprating data....

I have my fingers crossed that this meeting today is real...... and not just a twitter storm generated to support the share price as it decends.......

Whyast..... he claimed the IPPC for the plant was not important (I personally have never agreed with this) but when the 2 permits for re-entering PG10 and 11A were submitted by Geo months and months ago, it was stated that these had been submitted early in the knowledge that both wells would need work in order to keep them producing..... tight plays do need regular work to keep producing efficiently....so it is not surprising that after a year of production (with no other wells being brought online to stabilise the export) that the need for this work becomes more and more urgent......

Ideally whatever has been holding these back will be removed soon..... if not I would like the whole thing to be investigated .... it could be ARSO being completely inept..... It could be manipulation by external forces with vested interests .... or it could be that AST/GEO have consistently failed to submit the correct paperwork, timely responses to appropriate queries ........ either way if this stalls by the end of the year, it is over 40million pounds of investment effectively lost and at the very least ..... I would like to think a country operating in the European Union could be petitioned to investigate the failings here.......
..... its in their own interests as I know I wont be investing in any Slovenian projects in the future unless I understand the failings here.....

Just a thought..... but cutting back to survive the year is obviously required at this stage, however making it such a cliff edge RNS might just have been to bring everything to a head......regarding the issuing of permits.....and lack of support this appears to have had going through ARSO....

If there had been 3 or 4 poor RNS's over a month say, would it have had the same shotgun effect?

Im refering to the SR when I say good intentions.... can't be arsed with my comment being extrapolated to other successes or failures..... its Friday ffs..... im just about to open my first beer after a long week... gla 🍻

I don't agree with you Monarch.... I believe it was started with good intentions. ... anyone can see the current finances of ascent would mean a longer period of development if they continued to do it without additional funds..... I think the mistake from Ascent is to think companies would offer a reasonable deal if the IPPC want in the bag. ..

I think the SR needs to IPPC in order to return a good value deal to Ascent

Last time I heard Colins comments on the SR was that we were more than half way through the process . ... if that were true then we should have completed it by now. .... I think the Company needs to provide an update on this at the earliest opportunity..... imho it is being held up because any offers are dependent upon the permits being issued. ...... because as most of us still realise, investors are not interested in the fact that we can stumble along selling gas to Croatia and develop the field over 30 years..... they want the permits .... and then a return to the published development plan that sees us ramping up to full production within a few years....... if that is the case Ascent should update us that the SR is delayed for this reason... we are grown ups (I think) we can handle the truth.....

Hence I think the reason for the RNS reiterating shares in issue.... because there will be a lot of people busily calculating what they believe the company is worth based upon BGS as soon as the JORC lands.... thing is.... I have a feeling we will have proposals on the table post JORC/in time for AGM for the processing plant ..... and how we will fund it.... there will be a lot of information to digest in the next 4 to 5 weeks....

Im being lazy here ... but has anyone had a stab at estimating the Value of the JORC based upon the published data so far? Ive seen someone publish the development or the BGS JORC as their resource was firmed up.... but wondered if anyone had been puting their own thoughts on paper for Kodal?

Having alluded to significant positive developments that he couldn't elaborate on during the Q&A session there needs to be some meat on those bones.... or it could be concluded that they are just bones...... update on contract to build hardrock plant and progress of the new alluvials plans would be helpful to say the least.....

Don't be touchy.... I was referring to Tony's maths which you identified as wrong..... I was only supporting the fact that it was a significant punt..... buy or sell. ....

I think the point stands. ... even although the maths was dubious.....its a big punt..... but can we be sure this is a buy? Either way. .. shareprice did not budge.....

IPPC isn't required for survival of the company. ... but it is if they are to reach their potential value ...full field development over double the time frame won't cut the mustard for some.... they will want the value realised over a shorter period. .. imho

So.... a low T/O offer due to current sp position from a suitor starting from next to no shares (no significant single entity on the list of shareholders). The board recommend that we take it but it is say only 1.5p so is below many averages. ... and for others .... well below their aspirations..... simple.... shareholders reject the offer...... this has drifted low on very weak volumes and as soon as someone starts to take a major position on this company they will need to BUY shares to start with..... share price will rise again. ...

We are this low because of the uncertainties in permits etc casting doubt on the ability to realise the development plan..... and there are no buyers to mop up the small sales. .... IPPC..... or ACTUAL takeover and the SP will rise again.... imo

In agreement..... only I think the no need to go below the 1% is to keep the reporting to date concise.....Maiden JORC in 6 weeks ..... cant wait

B1gJake .... I thought he specifically stated the JORC would include the full assy results..... and not just down to the cut offs reported thus far.....

Dont see the problem ... ok there were a couple of specific questions we know had been raised that didnt get aired .... but the maiden JORC on a short timeframe before AGM, and confirmation that the JORC will include concentrations much below the current % cuttoff..... then a timescale for development up to Licence application in Q1 2019....

I took BA's nod to shareholders past and future support as they develop the resourse as being an indication that there will be a further share issue to raise at least some of the required capital....

Im happy to wait 6 weeks for this JORC and then press for more answers at the AGM.....

Im taking that as a given Kezz......<6weeks to finish the assessment that BA says they have already been working on.... I have faith in this one.

Or..... instead of funding as a loan.... they could just forward sell the ore to SC. ... in truth I believe there will be a bit of everything... I cant talk for SC but it if they were to take the loan on as well ... they would have all the risk. ... more likely they will want some private or bank equity to spread the risk.... otherwise .... if Mali sees political upheaval and the whole thing goes to hell in a handcart..... they won't be left with such a sore head.... but who knows..... either way, I am not worried about funding once we are at that stage. ....

Plant and infrastructure are typically funded by loan equity .... not share issues IMHO. ... I reckon with a JORC and a development plan that sees revenue within 2 years will leverage lines of equity that dont dilute shares in issue. .... all in my opinion of course

Totally with you on the bulk sample point there. .... is someone asking that question? I thought 2 months ago they were arranging shipment of what had been extracted up to that point
