That's where I got to sxx..... but the value is so huge compared to our lowly Market Cap and tiny capital cost for the processing plant that I thought I must be wrong.... so the capital can be paid off in under 2 months of mining..... and yet people are worried about where KOD get the funding for it..... I even used a 50% recovery rate. ..... in getting from 1.16% to 6%.... that 85 million a year (or 41 million using the lower numbers) is our starting level...... a % goes to Malian government as our partners.... as this is such a huge annual number there is little chance that the permit won't be issued..... so I just don't understand the selling.... I would like Bernard to provide a rough estimate of annual sales profit to KOD for this JORC exploited over a 10 year period..... then we can get an idea of whether our calculations are missing something.....

We could do with some NPV numbers at tomorrow's agm....I know this is maiden JORC but I've tried to do some number crunching based upon the numbers in the RNS and I still get very high numbers for revenue. .... so im guessing somewhere between production costs versus sale price for 6% concentrate and conversion efficiency I'm missing something....... im getting revenues of greater than 80 million a year over the 10 year life of mine...... im guessing I need to go back to school on this ...

Exactly. ... I forgot about that point.... with SC having a take off agreement with them they could provide significant finance by simply forward purchasing the early ore to be produced from the site.... the ball is completely in their court as to how they would prefer to de risk the venture.... loan with interest, full company purchase or tying up capital on forward material costs. ... either way. .. it answers the exam question..... how can SC provide further money without having to buy the company outright.....

SC can add funds by offering the project a loan or part of a loan to for example build the processing plant..... ....more likely they would subscribe to 30% of future share issues with PIs and other IIs taking the remaiming 70%.... imo

Nonsense Big Jake!.... he has twice clarified the statement of JORC before AGM...... he hopes it comes before the AGM but as it is a 3rd party delivering it it might come just after it....but he is still optimistic about it being before and is working with the 3rd party to achieve this. ....

It's a temper on the share price increase I'm expecting on issue of the JORC. .... but there will be a share price increase on JORC....as a counter to this however, we can look to BGS and how easily they get their license.....

He didn't release the promised JORC last year because the Chinese money meant that he didn't need to go to the market .... so there was no longer the need to spend the money at that point..... if the Chinese hadn't appeared I'll bet we would have had a less impressive maiden JORC last year and a share issue .... we would now be discussing JORC revisions... ...

ANYONE ELSE EXCITED BY THE MAIDEN JORC IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS????? I KNOW I AM..

Yes Kezz.... RNS 10th August. ... basically a quick retraction of the previous agm promise.... done through official route yo protect BA.... but that is how it should be.....I can wait a couple more weeks

The way I read between the lines is BA said we would have the JORC before the agm..... then looked to tie down the consultant to a firm date for issue.... they said 3 to 5 weeks to issue (so could be either side of the agm) so BA backtracked by suggesting that the final assay results absolutely had to be included. .... as a way of justifying the new suggestion that the JORC may come before or after the agm...... this is just my opinion. .... but im not fussed with this scenario.... because the main thing to me is the consultant is contracted and working on the imminent JORC. .... which will be released when it has been received...... 👌👍

Would like to see the SR companies assessments of the Colin calculated NPV for the asset. Colin has always been upfront that the 200million NPV was his assessment of the value of the resource.... wouldnt it be a scream if an O&G company didnt agree with his figures ..... found he hadnt carried the 2 and dropped the 5 and the actual NPV should be 400million .....
.... maybe Carlsberg are in the bidding....now that would be interesting..... probably...

Justin said 3 times in this that the lack of a JORC was his reason for not recommending Kodal..... so either he doesn't know the work on the assessment is already in the chamber or the suggested timescales for the JORC .... or he has decided not to trumpet the imminent JORC so that he can buy in...... or maybe it just highlights the risks of chartists when they don't factor in news

Im pretty sure that was just alluvials. ... and was associated with the processing plant that Omnia installed but never ran.... certainly it's been my understanding that the contract for the hard rock exploitation is separate from the alluvials. .. the last suggestion from Colin was parties were interested in building, supplying and operating the new plant and paying a concession royalty for the privilege. .. (CB hoped somewhere between 15 to 20%). I took this Contract signing to be the amazing news..... but with no updates forthcoming since..... im getting a little impatient. ...

My average is fairly close to yours Batfink....and im starting to worry a little as there seems to be little information coming out.
Are you expecting a production update RNS on wednesday or something more substantial.... ... like a contractor on board to build the hardrock plant?

I think SC will be in it to win on all fronts.... but it is our speculation as to how they intend to do this wrt Kodal and it's market cap.... if you wanted to follow their example you would buy shares in SC too.... but we cant. ... lol

My guess is.... something is going to hold this up by a few weeks.... probably the consultant is too busy to meet the schedule. ... so BA has decided to tell us with some notice that it might not be before the JORC but that's because he is squeezing in some crucial assay results....... of course it might be the labs delivery of the assay results that's wagging this dog.... but either way I doubt it is a big deal......as long as he sticks to the definition of the term "autumn" and makes it this year......I'll be happy happy happy..... imo

Its local, regional contractors they use for most of the on the ground work I believe, so those jobs wont be there....... the impact on Slovenian jobs however pales into insignificance when considered against the lost opportunity costs to their country for continuing with the near 100% imported gas ..... the pressure on their balance of payments deficit must be immense .... they will need to sell a lot of sunflower oil to make up the difference.....

.... and the NGO that caused the the original permit to be withdrawn.... hasnt stopped a fart of gas from being burned and releasing its CO2..... he has simply impacted his country's ability to invest in its own future..... including enviromentally beneficial projects..... typical tree huggers short sighted view..... should have used his obvious environmental gusto to persuade the government to use some of the windfall tax to invest in "green" projects and he would have done a lot more to save the planet....... imo!

Well James..... buy yourself an EV now..... it means your holiday will involve turning up a few more of those roads and having a few more stops to charge your battery...... as it sounds like you are the type of person to think of the glass as "about to be topped up" ...so you can probably take the view that there will be mroe opportunites for some of those memories to be created.......
