The only explanation for selling now is someone going for a short term rise elsewhere...we (should)start seeing a steady rise over the next 10 to 18 months.... but the big jumps will be limited to the big news items ..... permit issued....... finances in place...... plant ordered..... production started.... etc..... its understandable that people might feel they have an opportunity to jump out and back in without missing out..... im too risk averse for that strategy. ....

2 months since maiden JORC. .... I wonder how long until we can expect another substantive RNS....revision following consultants visit to the site, developed mining plan, business case, results of or update on 5k tonne sample processing...... I hoped there would be something before November on at least one of these things..

Let's hope this is the case. .... lets hope none of the correspondence people have sent to the minister directly is abusive. ... and let's hope he doesn't read twitter ..... sigh*****

All investors should keep a mind to how much down they are on the initial investment if they are to learn for the future...... you double down if you continue to believe in the investment / story..... but that first purchase was a mistake.... next time you read it better and be less exposed...... that's the way I look at it.

If he wanted a REALLY clever idea..... make sure we get the permits. ....support fast development of the field..... raise the taxes on the gas produced but ring-fence that tax revenue to spend on renewable projects.... maybe even kickstart a renewable industry in the same area that employs people local to the gas field.... he gets green credentials ....Slovenias trade defecit improves..... and the local community love us..... even the tree huggers

The reason for not going legal before was AST's desire to have a good working relationship with these guys over the course of the field development.... going legal now is an acceptance that we will not be working with them..... so Colin won't go to the EU until the permit is officially denied ....

Don't tweet him ffs..... he is a politician who will gain kudos from his countrymen if he is seen to be taking flak from disgruntled Brits....he will be emboldened. ..... best leave it to the legal route

If the permit is held back .... and Colin takes this to the EU court.... then I think he will have shown himself trustworthy.... more trustworthy than 50% of this chat room. ... at this moment however I'm looking at Slovenia being the problem

I think the RNS was issued on more than hearsay..... im sure there would have been a few phone calls to confirm sources first........

The lack of permit after so many years was the warning sign.... I reduced to 20% of my holding in early spring because of it... but what was left is still significant value to me.... the Strategic Review was a ray of hope in my book.....

Wasn't a meaningless RNS Happy.... it was a statement that legal action will follow on ARSO if the permit isn't issued because of this.... and btw.... the legal action will be against the decision to withdraw the permit already given all those years ago.... it might clarify things as some have suggested (I. E. The minister might crank his neck back in and allow due process to prevail) .... but even if it does this last development has completely exposed this play to what it actually was .....

Will be awarded to a Slovenian company in a couple of years time..... exposing the fraud perpetrated here. .... it would appear that it is on a national level.... what's the saying? Steal a little and they throw you in jail..... steal a gas permit and they make you king.... if only we could get a glimpse of the actual story here.... but Slovenia is not somewhere that will see another penny of investment from me.... and I will tell anyone that will listen

I agree Scott... so we should have our horlicks and toddle off to the land of nod and no dreams of Slovenians with pitchforks chasing Colin out of the country. ... its simply not true..... they love him over there....btw.... whst I can't understand. .. if the locals hate the idea so much why are they not protesting like those in Lancashire? Boots on the ground? Over a translated article the wording of which could be read differently depending on the translation. .. I bet you Reso can tell us precisely what it means but would we believe him? I say an RNS is required tomorrow. ..... permit or no permit....I would like to know.

You haven't included the almost £300k of gold we hold in account from these two periods....so if Colin opted to sell just a little more gold from reserve we would be in profit (cash)
