After watching that presentation im going to just give BA all my money.... might even sell the wife and kids.... it will be worth it....

My point James is there is plenty of energy just not at peak times and the current smart meter roll out could be repeated for EV vehicle owners but with an added control to avoid overloading the national supply at peak times and protecting the local distribution network at all times.... .. you are correct in so much as government are terrible at this stuff.... but as EVs take off the LDZ operators will have to do something before transformers start to trip on a regular basis.... they could upgrade the transtormers or transmission lines ..... but I think control via smart meters will be cheaper and more effective. ... its my opinion but I'd like to see the arguement that shows why it wouldn't work.

There is plenty of power available James. ... apart from peak generating times, which are early morning (cars already charged from previous evening) and early evening.... with smart meters becoming the norm. ... the network and capacity can easily be protected during the early evening spike ..... how many EV users will need to fast charge between 5 and 7pm at night? ... other solutions that address this are also good for our lithium investment. ... such as more households and businesses incorporating battery storage as a way of optimising renewable energy supplies or even cheaper off peak generation...... all it needs is people to adopt a "can do" attitude.... and stop throwing up all these perceived barriers.... ive read articles in respected publications that raise the same fears as you..... and yet a tweak on technology currently being rolled out across the country in conjunction with a considered 10 to 15 year infrastructure plan would deal with these easily.....

I don't agree...... we know production figures are going to be dire reading going forward..... and he is not adding anything by continuing to reiterate this..... the position is laid out starkly already. ....so I expect RNS's over the next two months to be limited to material events that are key to the future of our investment. ..... all paperwork completed and submitted...... permits issued.(or not... ie rejected or further clarifications requested) ..... offers received.(or not) ...... everything else is like watching bathwater drain away....

Im sure the final lithium extracted from the license area will be multiples of the maiden JORC figure... and who cares if it takes a further 2 or 3 years to flesh out the concession... in that time out 1Mt/annum plant will be generating 50 million a year in free cash (as roughly estimated by BA) ... and dont forget.... im sure some of that free money will be used to develop the gold prospects as well....very exciting times.... and as long as nothing comes along that forces me to sell early, I'm hoping for a massive return on my current stake....

SC BA indicated it was around 50 million to get into production from here..... dont know why you would feel it necessary to make your estimate 4 times that...... maybe double it if you want.... but 4 times? Why wait for a JORC before making such suggestions? You could have plucked that s#@! Out of the air anytime

less than 1% of total shares in issue sold today...... from the positive info in the last RNS I dont understand why anyone would sell.... no understanding at all ... .but only 60million shares sold.... ~100K in value ...... not really any indication of sentiment.... .... I would be buying right now if I had spare money

Sell your second car James .... then hire the IC vehicle you need whenever you are doing the long drive.... or take the train and hire an EV at the other end...... there are options available in the interim while the EV and battery technology bridges the gap made by 100 years of IC dominance....

I dont actually own an EV yet.... but maybe if KOD comes good I will :-)

Ray, I think he said he had a meeting scheduled with the Malian government representative about the mining permit in Q1.....application to follow on from that..... that was my recollection anyway.

Hopefully there will be a timeline in the AGM presentation ..... looking forward to hearing some feedback from it...... Im guessing there will be an answer to all our questions......

I think that that question will be asked SC .... but I dont see the problem with this fact ..... as long as when they have managed to identify where to mine.... and the cost of exploration hasnt become a burden.....then everythign is good in my book...

Also, you cant really compare at this stage because the mining plan might be far more efficient for KOD on account of the additional exploration, or perhaps the layout of the intersections required the greater clarity of additional drilling..... lets see what BA says at the next update, which is due.... let me see.....tomorrow at the agm! ha!

Exactly .....so 50million capex to get us into production......approximately paid for within 1 year of mining...80% of the production already with a market on account of the offtake agreement... This will get funding no problem......

Im happy with the notion of 85million a year based upon the numbers we have been given so far and your recommended further reading.... thank you for the pointers.....
I had a bit of a shock this morning with the low numbers in the JORC but im happy now that I have also had a bit of learning this morning... ...

AIM..... sorry mate but the finger in air profit estimations being made over there are in line with the scoping statement from SAV .... and thank you for pointing me in the direction of this share (SAV)....ive been looking for this kind of comparible data in what is a very young mining sector....

And their processing requirements need a Capital plant layout of over 100 million dollars.... so their payback will be nearly 2 years..... very respectable ..... but on that basis KODs payback on the capital for the plant will be less than 6 months.... winner winner .....

Sav's scoping study in particular. ... their basis was 14.42Mt at 1.07% mine production over 11 years..... their annual projected EBITDA on this smaller less concentrated mineral basis is $72 million per year.... so im actually happy with my numbers now for KOD..... just don't understand the Market Cap now.....

AIMtodeath.... can you suggest a spodumene lithium mine to use as an example? In my opinion the board should be providing an NPV estimate based upon the JORC.... or in reality the consultant producing the JORC should produce this based upon clearly laid out assumptions.... but that's just my opinion
