NZ constantly reported in official RNSs.... excellent drill results....none of us are experts in Lithium mining im sure so really the onus should be on you to explain why they are bad...... surely?

And dont reference other commodities .... only Lithium..... if you want to deramp fine..... but im less likely to believe you than qualified consultants and a team with years of mining experience behind them....

I don't think there are that many shares (not withstanding those issued this weekend) that will trade at a profit below 1pps. .... certainly not a big portion of the company's shares in issue....
Only sales this low will be due to attrition of holders accepting big losses and traders that have some of these cheaper shares......
It's the thing that stops me selling tbh.... the galling knowledge that traders will use the cheapness of these shares now to further work the company MC..... of course unless we get something positive from Ascent it's all wasted money.... but i certainly still hope there is something in the offing.....

I wasn't disappointed at the timing..... more disappointed that there was no mention of it in very recent communications.... in fact I came away from watching the interviews feeling we were at least on a steady footing.....

The reasons for adding 350k are likely to be valid enough.... we were only a couple of hundred K above the cash we need to hold as security for operating the license.....

One positive.... if suppliers are happy to be paid in shares then this would suggest some degree of optimism by businesses actually involved in the sector....

I'm not happy..... only permits soon or a successful court case later will do that

Effectively by doing the usual podcast interviews..... telling us nothing specific .....then doing a primary bid is like him simply saying.... "trust me"..... we will see how many trust him on Monday when we see the results.....
Of course if it is successful at a low price and then the permits get issued end of next week ......... hmmmm

Noo.... not per annum.... at a 1.2 mTPA plant it will be around 60million PA profit........without doing the sums.....

Gfd... if you are referring to the long conversation you had with Ray, i think you are missing the point. He wasn't trading for incremental gain.... he is moving his holding into a tax free ISA account on the belief he has (like you) that this share has a future in the sky..... if he sold last week, when his funds clear and he buys back in on Wednesday in his ISA then all is good....

If i read him correctly it is simply changing his Tax position.... not his KODAL one....

I did the same as you Ray with about half my pot back in March ... realised the only sensible place for a potential flyer like KODAL was in an ISA account..... wish I'd moved everything over at the time (spread across financial years) but my delay was 10 days with Halifax and i started getting nervous .... still half is better than none...

Solar powered plane is currently flying round the world..... not sure of its progress but with battery improvements it could probably repeat the operation in half the time......(longer distances and less onerous 'perfect ' flying conditions for each stage....

Im more than fed up with the debacle.... i had sold all in March booking a 6 grand loss when i transferred into a S&S ISA account but only repurchased a meesly 160000 shares so that i could keep an interest in the company's story here.... now i could be annoyed that i am stupidly down another grand.... or happy it's not another 10grand.... but im neither.... i just royally p**sed off with the whole thing.... if I'm honest there is only the Brexit farce that i find more annoying.

It's a sad point to get to with this, that i would prefer legal action to be followed just to have the facts .... no longer about recovering some lost money (although that would have been a bonus).

If they start to issue permits now and the field gets developed we will never know the true villain here.

I can't see any problem predicting for share prices above 1p assuming production by 2020 and limited (if any) dilution.

But if i share a dream i keep having (not a prediction) it is that Bernard manages to pull off his once in a lifetime opportunity and gets his little KODAL explorer company up through small cap producer and eventually into midcap...... with multiple mines and multiple commodities in production......
It is only a dream...... but it's one i keep having.... so i will be leaving some of my shares in KODAL for the long long term.... champagne or mud..... either way I need to see if the dream comes true...

Not so sure on the conspiracy theory.... however would be understandable that the government would want to distance themselves from BGS at the time that fraudulent activity was going on..... i personally think that since then, it has been a ineffective/or inexperienced BGS board that has failed to reignite momentum.... hence we have become the darlings of the Malians.... i sincerely hope their latest board manage to bring their mine into production too ( 3 months after us of course) .... i wouldn't want to wish ill on them.... they represent PIs just like us.... there is room on the broom for all of us in Lithium imo

The 50 million was straight from Bernards mouth mate ... podcast very soon after the AGM and maiden JORC.. and I'm assuming it covers vehicles access improvements, overburden removal, services etc.... to be honest I'm not even speculating.... I'm just chewing the fat.... the real figures should be coming soon enough. I'm happy to wait (with a grin) for that news to break

Gfd.... in a podcast following the AGM Bernhard suggested that once other associated costs were added, he estimated we could be in production for as little as 50 million..... can't recall if he included a currency when stating this but at least it wasn't Bitcoin.

You are correct James..... but the answers to the big questions.... Costs, value of product, environmental assessment, mining licence, firm mine development plan, routes of funding, professional experienced project plan through to production, and expanded resource estimates are all news items that we will be reading over the next 4 to 12 weeks..... I'm am genuinely excited....

The Birmian numbers are good to use as a marker.... but they are going for much more plant and processes and as has been discussed they have a few more challenges wrt their location. Until Kodal firm up the numbers im going to take Bernard's estimate as an OOM and expect costs of up to 100million to get into production.... Just think..... all our speculation is great.... but within the next 10 to 12 weeks we should have official answers to all of them....

You need to factor in the other ancillary costs associated with getting a fully operating mine....BA prelimjnary estimate we will be into production for 50million..... so one years payback .... but still good..... once in production they will be adding floataion circuits to increase recovery up by about 15%..... but don't know what these plant costs will be. .... but even if the payback stretched to 1.5 to 2 years...... would that be a bad thing?

Im sorry if my sarcastic response was inappropriate Allwaysup ... it was in responce to the suggestion that permits are not required to increase production... because the position we are in means we need a permit before we do anything imo. .... even if we were to just open up the old wells to try and get a few unstimulated puffs we would most likely need a new permit...

In your next post though you make an excellent point. We should have been applying for the permits for the old wells as per the development plan published in 2017..... in fact a few months before Colin informed us that they were applying for restimulation permits (early) on pg10 & 11a he claimed the next step was pulling the paperwork together for permits to enter the old wells...... but as you say nothing has been done on this front.
It all still boils down to permits.... they are needed.

Either way... this January is more exciting than most ive experienced.....
