You are right. It will be fairly untechnical, but there will be more than picks and shovels. Earth movers, milling, screening, mag separation, power generation, Fuel storage, accommodation etc and the contract miner will likely be supplying manpower to operate the kit..... certainly in the short term.

Im just saying that it will be a tick in my box when we are told that a contractor is on board and will be delivering to our timescales.

Im not complaining if this is now end of september for these assay results but it would be good to know. We all like to lay out when we are expecting news (its like the XTR equivalent of talking about the weather), so I just want to understand how it all fits together.

Havent invested ....... but Its a compelling case though...... Not surprising that a company that has yet to get a cent of revenue despite millions of investment should see their Initial share price drop.... question is what do you think will happen to their shareprice when they get their first 4 revenue streams on the go?

Manica looks to be about 3rd on the list out of those 4.....

not investment advice mind you..... just an observation....

And if you look at the chart that they have up while they mention this Q4 production, they also have accounted for some revenue too in 2021 ..... so I doubt they expect to wait until December, otherwise first revenue would be pushed into next year.

Im now hopeful for late october early november for Manica.... and im sure when it does start commissioning we will get an RNS from Xtract and not have to rely upon a 3rd party to tell us how our asset is performing.....

Give it a bit of time. They all stated we would be kept up to date as information came available (including drill start/drill stop by Mr CB) but no need to hoist them on their own petards after the first weekend.

I thought our existing JORC was only inferred at the moment. The work going on now is to improve scale and quality.

Im sure this has been posted before but the Align assessment of Xtract from last year.... before Bushranger lit the touchpaper. Point to note - share price estimate of 6.56p.... with the extra shares in issue now that would be down to 5.3p ..... but only includes Bushranger in the "Blue Sky" portion of projects (£15million).

Since then we have had the Bushranger "event" and improvements in most of the African concessions. You can see how undervalued we currently are at 4.3p.

Thoughts from me.... if the expert geologist thinks its worth drilling, I dont want to argue..... if the copper starts at 500m down and the % comes back too low to mine at that depth then the upside is we can stick a pin in it and move on.

Personally I would drill to at least find out, but with the results already looking so good at racecourse I would keep 95% of my focus there.
Use the last 2 holes from a campaign to relocate the rigs and speculatively drill footrot while the assay results are being waited on for the main event.

I think end of November for the end of this phase of drilling must include the return of the assays as well.. and with that in mind it isn't too bad.

Lucky, if you are concerned with slipping timescales, I suppose it will be down to whether they can define and obtain the permit for the next 8000m of drilling by the time the last core leaves for the lab. I can easily see how that could result in a delay.... especially as they will probably have just over half the results back from the lab by that point.

More important for me than a few months of slippage will be getting regular updates and really getting the opportunity to follow its development.

The trip to the beach is always a more pleasurable journey when you can have a good game of "who can see the sea".

And if you can combine that with a game of "who can spot the migrating birds returning from Africa to their UK roosts" you might even find you arrive with the biggest smile on your face.

What was said in the Podcast was that we would be getting Assay results (RNS) as they arrive, which will be every 1 to 2 weeks once we get the first ones back (5 or 6 weeks after the first 2 holes are finished).

So I take that as - expect to be kept updated every 1 to 2 weeks from sometime in the first half of September.. Nothing was said about how frequently we will get updates before then, but id like to think that they will endeavor to give us something. Especially as a they will be able, with XRF to confirm if any mineralisation is copper bearing as the drill samples are pulled out of the ground.
