I'd imagine if we reject the independent expert value, there will be a clause that we need to pay for the subsequent independent experts and other associated fees and there is probably a set timeframe for us to get this alternative report done by.

As you say, it seems doubtful that this wouldn't be tied up in the small print but it sounded like Colin, having read the small print was happy with the protection the agreement offered Xtract.

Im reading between the lines - Colin said assay results go through their own review before they are issued in an RNS. Could this not just be that at this stage their own review is to a bit more and update the drilling plan details with these results, add the drill numbers onto the map we have already been given and perhaps issue some further guidance....

Of course it might also be as simple as - last week was a very busy one with the presentation etc and he has numerous AGMs next week, so he is struggling to keep on top of it .... will be a short term problem. (I know the accounts department are always slow with my expenses when it comes to period end).

imo it will depend what the wider industry perspective is on future price of copper.

If AA are looking to the future expecting this longer term outlook to increase they know that this will affect the fair value calculation that a 3rd party assessor would make on this share. It might the the thing that prompts an early offer from them, maybe as early as the end of this drilling campaign.... but it would have to be a big offer in todays money or they risk the 3rd party assessor.
As Colin said (in the short clip I saw from thursday) its a game of poker.

5 to 6million tonnes I'd bite your hand off..... but .... at what price for copper? It might be 20000 by 2025 but it won't be there for the 30 year + life of mine

And remember..... in addition to the South East that is being drilled now, the South that was shown the recent map, there is a extrusion jutting off to the east from 2/3rds of the way up the original drilling zone.
Not even mentioned in this recent info but looked significant too..... I guess its all about focusing on the goal.... and when the goal is already so much bigger than target what are you gonna do?

That's one of the pleasures I get from investing. The research gives you baseline knowledge in so many things..... most I keep to myself at parties though..... I dont think other people are interested.

Its not a dumb question at all... im hoping someone can be categoric in the answer because I cant. I had it in mind that Foot Rot was some kilometers away, while the remaining phase 2 holes only step us out (an impressive) 1km.
I would be happier to know there were some holes going in FootRot but I cant say for sure...... if only there was an opportunity coming up to ask this of the horse.

That sounds like a plan Steve..... a phase 3 drilling campaign kicked off early 2022 to pick up the eastern opportunities and Foot Rot.... then spend a 4th phase mid year onwards improving things while AA (or others) are pushed to increase their bids on a weekly basis due to continued good infill drilling results....

Of course.... if some infill drilling is required to set out the minimum decision to mine case then that should also be prioritised.

It is stated in the application that the 2 aboriginal sites are minimum of 2.9km form those original planned AA holes.

Sounds like AA had that well locked down before they started... although there was the declaration (and im assuming anything we do in the future will need to have this as well)

"If an Aboriginal object(s) is found in the course of site preparation, drilling or rehabilitation, the site will be isolated with flagging and be described. The location will be recorded with differential GPS, and the site investigated by a qualified person. The planned drill hole(s) will then be cancelled, or moved to a different location more than 50m from the site. The NSW Office of Environment and Heritage will be informed of the presence of the object or place"

We have had a lot of news over the past 6 months and it reminds us where we are.

So the DFS will land in the next couple of months, which will be a big day. What other RNSs might we get between now and the end of the year? Im thinking the engagement of the Trial Mining contractor with mobilization dates, but im not sure what else.
Are we going to be engaged in any more drilling programs? Or is it heads down and deliver on the Trial Mine first?

Andrew, you are always generous with your opinion and advice on here. I've been taking heed of your posts since I was first in here in 2017 so thank you for that.
I dont believe you have ever been that candid regarding your holding (we can deduce from this that it is sizeable). I personally feel (even) more positive knowing you've been putting your money whereyour mouth is over all these years.
