The presentation from the recent evening with Colin had more recent construction photos, but with only 2 months until the end of the year im sure the bulk of the plant will be in place and therefore ..... if you are reading this Colin.... it would be a great time to get some up to date pictures on the website.

O&W, im thinking that these guys will be pretty busy at the moment and its completely understandable that the heads are down while they are driving to deliver the project.

That said, I would certainly welcome some indication on expected timeframes..... The additional technical report that held up the DFS.... I have no feeling for whether this is a significant endeavor and 1 month , 2 months...3 months work .... should we be expecting it any day now or on christmas eve with Rudolph the red nosed reindeer?
I wouldnt expect news on funding before this, but maybe something regarding how the trial mining plan is progressing could be provided at the same time the DFS is?

I have high hopes that this will start to move quickly when it does, but at the moment I have no feel for when it will start.

NvS could do with doing an interview.... doesnt need to be probing, and doesnt need to directly reference detail from any of discussions/negotiations that ARCM may or may not be involved in.... but a bit of meat on the RNS bones with respect to the drilling results and why they feel the results are positive even if they didnt "blow the bl@@dy doors off!".

It isnt rocket science and its obvious from the direction of the chats on here that contributors are attempting to join all the dots and getting different answers.....

I agree with you there Ella. If the sale is just the single concession and we are continuing drilling the others, then why can't the others be part of an overall deal? With % value goalposts linked to the results of OUR exploration.... with sweeteners to us for our risk..... this could be played like church organ to be honest... anything from "come all ye faithful" to "abide with me" or even "kumbaya my lord".

I dont think anyone is suggesting giving away 3 concessions is the idea....
When the JORC is prepared and the initial Salvos start with AA (or whovever) I'd like to see an extensive 3rd phase drilling campaign that first targets exploratory drills in all those areas.... so that any 3rd party assessment on value is forced to consider some value from those.

Good point jamesie... we bought the company so the licences and permits are all probably still being handled in the name of ProspectOre? Bit of a minefield to speculate on it seems.

Still what a great shift in conversation.... discussing whether tax on profit is better paid in UK or Oz.... rather than when is the next share issue /fund raise.... and would it be better as a dual listing. Its the sign of good times ahead we hope....

Not sure on tax liability but I would have thought losses/investments across the Xtract concessions can be offset against that.....up to 6 years? There will still be a tidy corporation tax bill to pay.... although also tax deductable against other investments.... so if we are in a position to expand Eureka and mine that, then there is a potential rebate for that as well.....

I think we are allowed to discuss bigger numbers as phase 2 doesn't look at the potential to the South, out to the east, or from Footrot. But we should be clear that its purely speculative

Again, im sure the debate will continue until we are all driving EVs and it is plain to see what areas other alternative types of battery or chemical energy storage manage to hang on to.... there will be many other technologies in the mix as the lack of supply of raw materials will hold back the rate of EV dominance so other solutions will need to used in some areas..

but just think about some of the challenges.... EV detractors will say that there just isnt enough electricity to charge all the vehicles on the road.... so if proponents of Hydrogen for personal vehicles get their way, and we also try to live up to the Green Hydrogen instead of Blue hydrogen ..... thats 2.5x as much electricity needed. ... impossible economics

Unless the real cost of electricity drops low enough to be inconsequential in the equation (wouldn't that be a beautiful day) Hydrogen will remain restricted to sectors where its other benefits are attractive (e.g. long range and aviation). Otherwise massive subsidies will be required to support it.

I interpret it as a confirmation that the proposed method of disposal of ZNWD shares is agreed... If I recollect we were happy with that arrangement when first suggested as we felt that existing Bacanora Shareholders would be more likely to hold on to the ZNWD shares......

Just because its scientifically possible doesnt make it a commercial reality.
Long distance Hub to Hub commercial I can understand from a logistics point of view but if the hydrogen is from electrolysed water then the energy used it is at least 3 times more expensive than in straight EVs, and that is a baked in part of the energy balance that you cant get rid of (might be able to reduce it to some extent but it will always be a drag on performance unless some leftfield technology for taking the Hydrogen, storing and transporting it can be found that doesnt consume energy)
The blue hydrogen option is great from the point of view of our pensions as it gives the O&G companies a cushion as the world starts to move away from Petrol and Diesel .... but it isnt environmentally friendly. ....

I think the EV revolution is nailed on now for cars..... these other technologies are great, not just hydrogen but they will be limited to specific applications imo. In saying that there are lots of different battery technologies swirling around..... so I still think EMH and others need to get a move on. Nothing is going to push other technologies into the mainstream more than shortages and restrictions in the current battery metals needed.

I think if the remaining holes testing the SE extension come back reasonable then 25 to 30p is a bit low (as we are expecting the JORC update will surely be >2mt).... but still portfolio changing for me.

A tidbit to tide us over would be uploading the Investor Evening video onto the Xtract Website.

That would at the very least keep us debating on here until the next tranche of news drops.

Equally I cant see why there is anything to "legally" force XTR to produce a JORC at any time. I agree they cant withhold the drilling and assay results (although they could change their position and issue all at the end of each campaign), but ive never heard of a company being compelled to complete a JORC when they didnt want to.

Im expecting 20p as a minimum when the JORC is issued and /or the decision to mine is RNS'd, which Im expecting by Q2 2022.

I know there has been no hard and fast date given for this, however with the expectation being that we will reach 2mt with the existing drilling campaign and this campaign concluding by the end of the year, and assays returning in around 8 weeks, I think we will have the information to update the JORC by the beginning of Q2....

Of course if we go into that JORC assessment with the tonnage ....even on an inferred basis to say take us up to 3mt or 4mt..... then we could be moving towards your upper target... but who knows.
