Glad to be wrong yesterday r.e. RNS.... but I cant lie, im now champing at the bit for news.

I had told myself I wouldnt "expect" regular RNSs until the Assays started to come back, because we would then be expecting the returns to be roughly in line with the completions ... and therfore would know the regularity .... but I cant help it.

Im now a Pavlovs dog for a drilling RNS

They have stopped Phase 2 drills in mineralization so far (i.e. they dont go deeper than the open pit aspect) .... my guess is the holes have moved on and the slight delay on reporting is the English bank holiday effect.

If im wrong and they have continued this/these particular drill holes deeper, then it would surely because it is revealing some aspect of the deposit that is beneficial to the overall program. This is not a rookie drilll team or project management team, so I doubt they are doing anything without reason.

By expectation though is an RNS later today.... and the next 2 holes already WELL underway.

Far from being knowledgeable in this, so these are only my friday afternoon musings on the subject:

I think if we sell Bushranger, then XTR is as it always has been . An explorer/developer with some smaller operations and so I dont see what the benefit would be to them to move onto the main exchange.... in fact they would lose flexibility.

If they go into production and this turns out to be one of the larger Porphyries in the world....and Eureka throws another cat amongst the pigeons and offers us another big production opportunity (which we take) then you can see the benefits and protections associated with relisting.

At the moment however I think its purely hypothetical. We're AIM and we know we are....

Nothing saying we wont get a late friday RNS.... but if not we should surely be able to look forward to one on tuesday next week.

Maybe he is thinking about the veined mineralisation from the hole currently being assayed and thinking to himself, the risk gets less with each passing week.

Remember those pictures of the veining copper mineralization in the first drill sent for assay?..... Those are the results we are waiting for mid september....

The article was a politically motivated work ..... an opportunity to snipe Biden in support of his old mate Trump.... and people who are knowledgeable in the sector have debunked it. If being in Afghanistan meant the Americans could exploit the resources then why after 20 years did they not exploit them?.... and for people invested in this area of commodity stocks..... you should know the realities of timescales/effort/money and risk..... an should have seen through Nigels article in an instant.

Hi Tricky, my view is ..... A single Mine does not a deficit fix....

We all know that news can induce a short term kick (or kick in the nads) but I believe the narrative that bigger copper deficit story is the real story.

This share however needs to give us an update pretty sharpish. Having been lead to the sunlit uplands of an impending deal... I feel a bit like we have been left to graze and the shepherds are on their tea break. Hopefully we will get more communications soon.

Im glad he was fairly specific on the expected dates for the first Assays to be returned.......

The first core to be tested/assayed is from Hole 8..... The mineralisation wasn't too thick if I remember rightly, however it gave us those lovely veined photographs.

I can now start to look forward to those assay results coming in.

I doubt Afghanistan will be high on any company's list for developing a Lithium asset..... can you imagine selling that risk to the management?
If there is a company that does this.... and succeeds .... no matter the country of origin, it would be an indication that the Taliban are prepared to be grown ups and engage in more reasonable governance.....
Id rather there was a bit more lithium supply on the market if that price meant a stable Afghanistan.... small price to pay.

Anyway, the article is just the hateful Farage seeing an opportunity dig the knife in.... Id wager the people on this board have a significantly better understanding of the important considerations in the battery grade Lithium sphere than Farage, and therefore thousands of people better placed to write that article.

Same here Rodders.... in fact what I have in here is profit from xtract. Taken at 6.5, 8 and 8.6..... must have been one of the few times I've called it correctly.
I'm hoping some of the luck came over with the top slicing. It's certainly held it's value better than if I'd left it there..... although looking for both to make significant gains in the next couple of months.

This was mentioned in the last podcast. Colin gave a big up to the drill teams who are continuing to work without rotation.

So basically the drilling hasn't been Impacted. I wonder if it will add 7 days on the assays. I suppose it depends where the lab is.
But these are just little nips.... importantly nothing to worry about.

That's almost a tweet just for me lol.

My original point was that the mining sector is getting hot, so im happy to hear (not saying i wasnt happy before) that you dont think that there will be shortages in this mining jurisdiction. I will be even happier when we are told that they have dibs on this contract plant. Logistics are after all logistics.

Xtract Manica in 2017 was certainly a lesson.... but Im not suggesting for a minute this is the same.
