One note of caution on Fodere and their new process... I attended a technical seminar one lunchtime, listening to the development of the TiO industry during the 20th Century. Very interesting and you would be surprised at both how some processes have changed but how many have stayed the same since the 70's.

The presenter (who was a technical guru of over 30 years) was asked was there a new process on the horizon that would be a game changer (either from efficiency or from removing some of the dangerous chemicals from the process). He said that whenever he heard of a new process he invariable was able to recall where they (the companies he worked for) had already tried that process and hit some dead end. Hence how many years the current processes have persisted.

Now - that could be arrogant complacency..... Or maybe he hasnt heard of or doesnt know what Fodere's process entails....

We need to start hearing about the refining capacity being brought to Europe..... EMH and others producing to feed this supply chain.

"If all Gigafactories are built, Europe's Battery Production will be second only to China".....

not very impressive if all our refined Feedstocks are coming FROM China..... Thats even worst than not building ANY Gigafactories at all...... Imagine all those Billions and Billions of investment in Europe to get us to number 2 in terms of battery production, but still reliant on their battery metals feedstocks coming via the country that is number 1.

The need for EMH and others in the sector to succeed becomes more and more important as the months go by.

We knew the alluvials production was low. We had been told in a few podcasts now. If im honest, I'm just glad this one is out of the way now.

The Manica News that I'll keep my eyes out for is Guy Fawkes, Boa Esperanza and of course 'ard Rock......maybe a couple of months for those updates now.

A lot of Caveats on that 6mt number but why not have it as an upper "blue sky" case.

Is there not a good chance, that the additional zones picked up on the IP originated from the same event, and so could have been subjected to the same conditions as the current JORCed resource was when it's mineralisation was developing?

That is why I am excited about the Phase 2 drilling campaign as it has the potential to really light things up as it progresses.... The team say they are committed to working up the resource to 2mt ....... but if that whole area returns the levels of mineralisation we have seen so far then it will easily go past 2mt.

Not long to go now we hope before the double barreled drilling begins.....

I think the sells (in fact the trades) yesterday were less than 0.3% of the shares in issue...... so nothing to read into the drop imo.

Surprised they weren't buys though..... maybe we need the updated PEA or PFS to draw the punters.

My favourite part is more of a general observation. The sheer amount of work carried out so far this year and the planned work when compared to the actual reporting period.

The share raise money is being put to good use, and in this period of the commodity cycle it is VERY likely that these activities will be very accretive to the value of our company

After the last raise there were a couple of good estimates made that put us out of cash by early 2022 im sure...... but of course they assumed African spend and ignored African revenue.

My feeling is any raise decision would be made at the back end of the year depending upon Fairbride production..... I hesitate to suggest Guy Fawkes or even tailings processing can be included here as I've been expecting to hear about production from both for 6 months now....

Jezzoo, the open pit assessment is about proving better value (to the market) and hence pushing AA to offer a higher % for our 2MT....
Imo they are both very important. No point spending 2021 drilling holes in the ground just to be offerred bargain basement for the concession.

Hi Steve, my "reducing copper at depth" refers to the fact that the averages for all 4 holes are a lot lower than seen in the shallower drills and not and gradient seen in a single drill result.

I dont think the results are bad.... they are grit to the geos mill ... and as I say, I'd expect it means a lot more focus on the shallower zones of potential mineralisation.... of which there are plenty.... and of which I'd be hopeful will also return copper in reasonable grades.... after all there is a significant probability the extention to the east was formed due to the same event..... under the same local conditions.... so could exhibit the same properties.....

Plus.... shallower holes, means more drilled for our buck..... means better definition .....

We need to accept holes 3,4,5 &6 haven't added useful tonnes to any open pit proposal. They do tell us categorically that the copper reduces at depth in this area and so I'm sure the phase 2 work will be focused on the areas down to 450 to 500m. The positive for me is that I'm sure these will drive the geos to avoid a focus on the deeper drills in other areas as they look to expand the resource.

I'm still positive for the phase 2 drilling. We need to get on with it and start to regularly feed these results back.

Empress had photos of groundwork, infrastructure and some smaller processing units landed on the plinths some time ago.... so I wouldn't be so sure the equipment hasn't shipped..... but I agree we have nothing to say it has.

There is definitely scope for an update here, and there would be great value in including this in the results RNS.... was someone not told on Friday that this was ready for issue start of this week?

Come on Colin, you need to at least let us know what is happening with the reporting calendar.

Drop is more likely linked to China's pledge to keep a lid on commodity prices (such as copper) by selling some of their strategic reserves.
Thing is, I see this as positive..... with all the speculation of is the copper bull on us, what better rubber stamp than a government pledging to sell some of its strategic stock to avoid a super spike.

Short term dip belays the actual truth.... copper will be north of current prices for an extended period.
All in my opinion if course.
