Can I ask a question on how you understand that these type of results can used to estimate resource?

The clear layers of the onion with mineralisation give us the information on the scale of the deposit (volume), but with nothing reported for the periods between means we can't estimate the average throughout.

So not sure how we can say what the contained copper is.

And that loss of integrity would hit across all his companies imo......

So I can't see the bad results happening. I think the delay is to provide all results along with interpretation from the Geos and will include the interpretation of the scan along with the outline phase 2 drilling plan. All in my opinion.

Just wish the new strategy had been communicated

Of course its a loss leader.... im sure its performance is still going to be analysed and warrantied ...... im sure you cant buy it from B&Q .... and I doubt they make it is sufficient quantiities to supply Taylor Wimpey ....

but that is where the opportunity arises. .... and the reason for buying into companies like Versarien.

Dave, I think the buzz word that is different here is "First Commercial Pouring".

Versarien have so many irons in the fire, but the thing that seems to be always dancing in the headlights is getting something commercialised...

I'd imagine the lower figure of 3c/lb will relate to a JORC produced to the minimum level, with no infill drilling to define the resource suffiently to hang a feasibility on.
If Xtract do more work in the meantime and push more of the JORC resource to reserve, then surely it moves closer to the 3%.

So... 10million spent now defining things better will increase the sale value x3, x4....?

Surely that is the name of the game anyway.

I'm not condemning Colin at all. I'm just highlighting that his talking style means people (me included) come away with higher expectations and I think it is good advice that we should always try to temper the interviews with the detail in the associated RNS.

I actually said he doesn't perjure himself ....(the odd slip of the tongue maybe)..... a few years ago when I felt letdown regarding alluvial contracts not happening, I went back through the interviews and RNSs and realised that he hadn't falsely promised.... he had just made us feel through the positivity in the interviews that something was nailed on..... but he had at no time said they were..... in fact sufficient caveats had been inserted along the way.......

It is worth stating the positive here.... all what had been claimed for Manica Alluvials production has come to pass.... as Colin told us...... just a couple of years later than we had thought ...

With 10million in the bank and more free cash flow coming, I doubt very much that Bushranger will be on a go slow....

I think the disappointment is from Collins assertion in interviews that xtr were going to get straight into the phase 2 program.

You rightly point out that the RNSdetail includes a bit of realism.... including the drilling license to be obtained.
As always, if you listen to Colins interview he hasn't perjured himself, just leads with emotion.... which in turn allowed us to supplant a earlier start to drilling in our minds.

I wouldn't be without Colins updates but it is always best to overlay them against RNSs.

Colin has always been this way.... we should be used to it. Difference is.... before it was tacking against the wind of available finance to progress his projects..... now it is with a fair financial wind and a target of getting Bushranger in the shop window ahead of the many others being explored around the world..... my feeling is the RNS will be adhered to ..... drilling licence dependant.

Yes, really ideal time to release the Assay results. Imo.

Great RNS and also an opportunity for Colin to give one of his interviews today and to clear up the speculation surrounding the Assay results and what the newsflow is likely to be in the next 4 weeks.

Where was this map published Shorn?..... we have been looking for something that showed the phase 1 drilling locations.... most have been hypothesising from the descriptive texts..... but this suggests it was always available.

CB has done this in the past in my opinion, with being quick with good news and then slow with bad news.

But with the positioning across his many companies at the moment, the negative impact of deliberately holding back news that would suggest Bushranger was anything less than the great opportunity we have been led to believe, would be damaging for all of them...... just at the time when he needs them all in the shop window shining bright.

My feeling is as many have said.... this is a change in tack, based upon the realisation bringing the assay results in together with the Geosurvey results and providing analysis will be far more beneficial than drip feeding.

He doesn't have to give us every assay result as they arrive on his desk, as long as that info isn't being used by anyone else in the market..... but having given us the impression that he was going to, I think it would be good manners to tell us the new plan......

Nice tick up against a backdrop of red across other investments and picklists.
Hopefully more news coming.

I agree with all the responses to this thread. It's gone from feeding some ducks every weekend to planning for a bird sanctuary that will service the birds for many summers to come

It is ripe time to add photographs of progress from the mining contractor..... tailings dam, civils, what equipment has been sited..... the site agent will already have thousands of these photos im sure....... just needs to send a few to our Colin.....

The geosurvey field work should be almost done(if not complete already). There is scope for even the final hole 6 assay results to be available in the next week or so (lab delays permitting). So in my mind there is the potential that the culmination of all of this including details of the phase 2 drilling campaign to be released by month end..... all in my hopeful opinion.

But if something like this is Colins intended plan, I'd imagine it would be very beneficial to the Shareprice to tell us.

That was a great synopsis Ice..... I think you should stop investing in other peoples companies and get your pick axe and donkey out and find a deposit to work yourself. You obviously have a good handle on the geology..... as well as the other geograpical issues.....

Just let me know the date of your IPO.
