I believe the 1% was for an underground mine..... open pit from surface was to be less than 1% but no actual figure suggested.....

So as you say, 1% is not an appropriate target for Bushranger......

If you listen to CBs sharetalk podcast on Bezant (i think) a couple of weeks ago, where he was pushed to compare all his companies.... this us exactly what he is trying to do.... put us in the shop window at just the right time.

I think everyone is trying to do the same.... but im hoping Bushranger will stand out ..... CB seems to think so.

As long as there remain significant barriers to the lithium getting out the ground (mining licence and funding mechanism) there is NO value in the lithium apart from the concession sale value, which without the mining licence is not as much as you think.

This lot need to get these barriers removed quickly as in my eyes .... with their history they look a bit ineffectual......

At a guess the need for mining contractor to reach out to Empress for a cash injection might have been COVID driven.... those poor buggers are probably hurting from the 6 to 9 month delay in their revenue coming in.
Also sounds like its the first revenue stream for Empress, so I'd imagine the pressure is on from them too, to complete this new timeline.

From our point of view, and to maybe fire the imagination of those that are purely here for Bushranger and are as yet a bit non-plussed on Africa, id suggest XTR start getting some picture of progress up on the website. I love a picture of big diggers, concrete pads, big process plant and dam constructions.

Any indication on the trial plant? Will it be a hired unit? (Short lead time, low Capital) or are we having to buy one?

I love that News just keeps stating facts..... in response to a poster .... whose motives are difficult to discern.
This year is going to be a cracker.

Go and listen to Colins sharetalk podcast a couple of weeks ago.... it was on either Bezant or Galileo.... cant remember... but he describes well the differences between the different grades.... and why they all have thd potential to be world beating....

With the last couple of RNSs concerning last of the CLN conversions... and obviously nothing else to report...... Yet..... we could at least be treated to a statement of current cash position. How mush of a warchest is remaining for the rest of the year.....

The specific gold funding is described as 'non dilutive' .... so no shares....

Its good that the expected dilution has been played through. Even better if they don't dump these 2 conversions onto the market as that is a great sign..... but for heavens sake.... give us some flaming project news.... Sino, MLA,OTA.....

Now is the time to capitalise on the generated interest...... give us the GOOD news

I know you are not a fan of Joe Lowry Daz, but he has been working in the lithium supply chain for 30 years. He also discloses positions when reporting (for example when he buys in and sells shares or more recently when he has been securing a shipment for a customer (i believe in china)). His weekly Global Lithium podcasts feature key players from across the industry.... from mining through to battery metal suppliers and recycling companies..... his projections and comments on supply and demand and medium to long term pricing are tested on a weekly basis against these guests and although not always in direct agreement.... imo they stack up (again and again).
Not only do they stack up.... but in comparison to others, his reasoning is also (usually) easy to follow and sensible.

I know he blocked you on twitter a while ago after you challenged one of his tweets and I cant say I'm a fan of people being blocked for expressing their opinion, but for me that seems to be clouding your judgement of an important commentary of the industry.

Your other points are valid...... but on what projected price should be used when assessing what lithium mines will get into production, I dont think todays Chinese spot price is entirely relevant..... apart from its direction of travel.

Ive been in out and in CE.... but even this time I came back on the basis on progress in Africa..... imagine my happy surprise when Bushranger turned out to be an actual thing....
