They couldn't say anything else really. We had a significant and IMO an unjustified rise the day before the RBL confirmation. Will we see similar price movement - up or down - before news on the Uganda deal lands....

You mentioned hard assets, I would be interested to know what you (BTB) and others, would consider hard assets during these unprecedented times ? A store of value that can be liquidated easily.

I spoke to someone recently, who felt they were benefiting from the current situation - a large mortgage at a low rate fixed for 5 years. When I asked what he would do if interest rates rose sharply (by the time renewal) he looked lost - because if he can't afford the new payments, then neither would most potential buyers. So a very cheap quick sale (losing him money) or foreclosure would be my most likely outcomes.

The hard asset question isn't that simple.

This will sound crazy to anyone who doesn't understand fiat currencies or the 'plan', but I believe the intention is to get every one of us into being totally reliant on the benefit system for our survival. In turn, we will give up our liberties and freedom just to be eligible for these benefits and therefore, will be under the control of others. Remember, this money paid out in benefits is created out of thin air.

That's why Owls, the system will not help people in your situation - because in effect - if you were helped, the system would be going against its own aim by helping you to remain independent. So by forcing you to use your own funds you gradually become poorer, and once people in this situation become broke they then have no choice but to bow to the system.

This is where it gets interesting, once the masses have nothing and are totally reliant on the system - what do the peasants who still hold some gold and silver actually do with it! I can see massive interest rate hikes in the future to destroy private property ownership and new land taxes too.

Similar happens in the UK. I have heard of workers refusing promotion and overtime because it will affect their benefits. I don't know if this is true - one person told me that he and his partner have nice cars and holidays because if they have 'too much' in the bank their benefits will be reduced.

Debt is a very effective way of controlling nations, businesses and individuals.

This is a few levels up from the Speenhamland system in 18th century England - which is where (I think ) means-tested benefits began. To most, being paid more to sit at home than working is crazy - but who benefits from a country's national debt increasing rapidly..

I think DT will be re-elected, and he promised more 'printing' if he does. Some people in the USA are receiving more money on benefits than they were earning when working.

The 'rise' was yesterday - the day before the good new landed.

You might be right, but it's hard to have trust in a company that has a significant rise without good reason - then the next day positive news lands.

invest amounts that you are comfortable with. Never be influenced by others - without doing your own research first. Whatever sum a person has invested will be significant to them.

I agree, and this is why extensive research is no longer worth while for me - I just momentum trade. As for the 500M sending this up to that range, I'm not so sure....for the reason you mentioned.
