what could be worse is if our assets are slowly sold off individually and then these sales are not genuinely reflected in our share price - because these values were already 'priced in' or the funds were used to service 'costs' along the way.

Thanks for the link, but there is nothing new here - but the article does highlight our individual assets and possibilities for them. I have posted about my concerns about a cheap T/O before on here.

If we get confirmation of the Uganda sale tomorrow, then I will be delighted. This gives us more breathing space for the company to be turned around and a rising SP will look after itself.

I was in a similar situation with TLW a few years ago. I bought about 15 tranches and was happy with my average and we were rising steadily, the tide turned and I sold out with about £500 profit - as we were heading lower than my average.

That's fair enough, but many times an SP will rise on good trading news - so it's not a hard and fast rule for me.

A few weeks ago some on here (inc myself), were surprised that FRES was only around 1350p despite PMs flying, today I was pleasantly surprised to see us above 1300p with PMs having retraced.

I'm no expert, but I'm still surprised at just how many people are oblivious to the worthlessness of fiat currencies and the absence of intrinsic value. As the 'printing' continues this has to be good for PMs - but I still know the game is rigged.

Very true Davestock. However, some on this board do seem to focus on over optimism rather than realism. A year ago while this was over 220p, the massive drop was called on this board - but how many took note...
