I was tempted to ask the same thing myself, but I've seen it before, even more so now across many different shares.

I think it's either mm's or AI trader bots trying to influence the price. It's beyond my understanding, as the whole basis of trading has changed so much in the last couple of decades since I started investing.

Just topped up myself, been a LTH but due to consolidation reduced my holding to 20 shares.

That's intriguing, now why would Russia not want to hold partial ownership of the pipeline any longer?

Could it be they anticipate trouble that could affect the pipeline?

Just posing the question to see if anyone else has any views on this.

Stewart if you go to the Sintana Energy website, you will see that they are currently only listed on the Toronto Exchange, they are seeking to list on AIM and presumably the timescale in achieving that accounts for the delay in us receiving Sintana shares.

There is also a very detailed explanation as to the reasons and key players in the takeover on their website.

I trust that gives you some assurance as to why the timescale is what it is.

I am by no means an expert on this, just my own assumptions from looking into the situation as I was also intrigued as to the timescales indicated.

I have topped up my original holding in Challenger to give my new Sintana shares a reasonable volume to hopefully take advantage of the prospective future upside.

I'm based in South Devon, but frequently working in Oxford and London so somewhere within reasonable travel distance would be good.

This is all really good news going forward, on a whim I sold some other shares and topped up @163 yesterday.

On the basis that presumably the salaries and payments to the KRG would get approved soon, that in order to fulfil the export of oil that that Pipeline will get opened and that there should be another dividend once GKP start production again.

Bit of a gamble maybe? But that's why we're all here!

Anyone's thoughts on the proximity of the US Base at Erbil getting targeted by Iran and how much risk that will be to GKPs facilities.
