There is both good in the story of MTRO and bad which all on here know but when a view contrary to their own is voiced they shoot it down. Why, when if you take a moment you might be able to make a better decision, or indeed make a decision which is right for you. Some are behaving like Ostriches. I want the MTRO sp to go above 300 asap but that is not going to make it happen. Going for something to eat, have a good evening one and all.

A general point not about MTRO. 'Been wondering how will some companies cope if the supply of parts stops flowing from China e.g. Apple has been highlighted in the press but will it give rise to the car industry closing down factories for lack of parts? Corona could be the cause of recession as so much stuff comes from China. Are we likely to see a rush for gold and wholesale selling of stocks; or are we far away from this scenario, any thoughts?

The rules may not permit him buying shares until after FYR, 'could be wrong. At these levels we may see Director buys in the next few weeks.

Bigsmoke we don't know what the financial position is with MTRO at this moment, that's why we should be keen to hear the news next week. I am not saying there will be a rights issue, but it is possible; just like a JV, or TO is possible. With the benefit of hindsight the growth to 70 branches in 10 years might not be viewed as a big success. This is a different way to look at the current position.

MavD, The figures you quote amount to a wish list and there is every chance that we see 180/170/160 IMHO. Any nasties next week could bring us to 159 again. Maybe they will talk about a Rights Issue which will drop the price, that's how I see it.

Catch 22 when Govt. have so many shares it holds the sp within a narrow range, get the figure below 50%, the sp will rise and the govt. may get a profit in time.

sw10000 sold half my holding this morning to buy back at 160ish. If in the meantime it rockets to £3 I will have covered my losses. IMO you could hold onto your money pending the results. It would be amazing if on or before 27th Feb there was a meaningful rise in the sp. Just a view not advice.
