The stores are on long leases with no reviews built in. Staff avoid selling additional products to customers. Overpaying for office space in the heart of London for back office staff. Paying too much for contractors. Opportunities to expand the customer value, some scope to reduce costs. Stores will not all be on a grand scale in future, think baby bear. 4 years to turn it around figures won't please in '20/'21. IMO expect the share to drop before it rises.

Shauny there is a bit more to it for you. In the current tax year you can put £20,000 into an ISA and from 6 April another £20,000. At 7.5p your investment is worth £40,000 then splitting the sale may get you where you want to be. This assumes we don't see EUA shoot up as most want. A bit of faffing by EUA might work to your benefit. Oh CGT, my scenario gives you 2 allowances. GL

red, I keep looking at this share but am inclined to agree. If the virus should cause issues with both sales and production then the debts could bring it down like a pack of cards.

I still remain of the opinion that McD's coffee is ghastly. However thank you for your thoughts. 'Not sure that the mortgages are a concern for anyone at the moment but, if property prices were to fall as in the late 80/90's then a drop in value of 30% could be seen. This could be accompanied by higher unemployment and higher mortgage interest/borrowing costs and a picture emerges where the banks bad debts rise. On another aspect of the MTRO model the branches are open for more than 70 hours each week compared with less than 40 for the likes of Lloyds/RBS etc., do you have a view about the costs of keeping open for such long hours. Yes they give good service but at a high cost.
