How can all the naysayers be wrong?

The share price is down 99% and the market cap is a fraction of what it was despite multiple finance arrangements and dilution. Meanwhile the BoD continue to take inflated wages for this mismanagement.

If share price gets back to original values then I’ll send an apology with as much red lipstick as you like. I won’t hold my breath 😀

Luke emailed me after last investors’ presentation in response to my questions tabled but not answered at the meeting.

I repeated the questions in the email but he never rang or emailed back.

Share price up 32% since issue of Q3 trading update on 12th November.

Guess there’s not much financial news out now til annual report normally about 3rd week in March.

We’ll pick up a dividend end of Dec and qualify for another before Annual Results.

What can add to share price til then? Is it just Gas futures and the hope that the DEC derivatives team are playing with the hedges to average up? Is it macro stuff? Are Rusty’s Investor events having an impact? Will shorters give up and create a buying spree? Have we now got a bunch of longer term holders so available shares are tighter, or will Crescent sell more?

Holding here - but will price rises continue in the absence of new news???

UK Shorts still at 4.9% above 0.5% according to short tracker this AM

- not sure were you get 3,7% unless you're looking at US data only.

And of course that doesn't include anyone still holding a short below 0,5% as they unwind positions.

US closed up 6% ish.

This morning’s UT was 12.68 followed by a load of small sells at about 12.15/12.16! Weird, MMs trying to drop the price temporarily to help shorts??? Not that the market is manipulated obviously.

Worya - we were tied in by our contribution. On the basis public spending never goes down and key players and the minnows are struggling to pay, what do you think would have happened to UK’s contribution?

Never get in a round with people who can’t pay their way!

Perhaps the well educated and cheap labour are better off helping Portugal, Spain, Poland and Romania. UK just needs the political balls to make those who are here work! Immigrants aren’t the problem it’s fat, lazy British people who think the welfare state is a lifestyle choice.

I agree. Lots of metrics turned down post Brexit but with France unable to agree its budget (or its Prime Minister or Government), Germany debt increasing and the poorer EU members not getting any richer, who knows what the financial future of Europe holds?

Brexit might end up being the right decision for all the wrong (and unknown at the time) reasons.

Just because PP has a different view to yours doesn’t mean he’s working for “his masters!”

He’s given his views and reasons behind them - that’s what we’re here for. He’s not saying we’re all doomed and he’s not saying the share price will triple overnight. He’s saying he’s had a dabble and now wants a bit more info before the next one.

Just to confuse us over how Qube works:

In addition to being the last one to start to unwind their DEC short (they’re significantly underwater there) and strange timing here, I also see they shorted DLG last week, just before Aviva increased their bid offer and share price leapt 10%. 😀

I’m beginning to think there might be a strategy of seeing what Qube do and immediately doing the opposite.

Not sure anything is in full swing.

Baghdad think they own the oil, KRG think they own the oil, DNO and Genel think they do.

Iraq isn’t talking about buying the oil it’s talking about compensation.

They’ll be trying their damndest to only pay IOCs their costs and maybe a tiny profit and keep the majority of the profit for the Iraqi government.

Lots of hardball negotiations ahead but think the IOCs making big profits is over.

Mmm -wouldn’t some geographical diversification have been a good idea 5 or 6 years ago at first sign of payment delays?

Genel never seemed to realise that relying on a single customer (who was devious, scheming and dishonest) wasn’t a great strategy.
