They haven’t exactly done a great job of answering questions recently.

They won’t know about contracts yet or when the pipeline will open but they will be very optimistic that someone else will sort it out for them.

They’ll continue to look for geographical diversification but fail.

We’re waiting on Iraq, KRG and Turkey to get the rest of the ducks in a row for us now that Iraq and KRG have managed the first one.

Even if you could convince yourself the tech worked - and there’s still no evidence of that, you’d have to convince yourself that the current management team can run a company. Absolutely no evidence of that available anywhere but lots to show they can’t!

Anyone with a brain couldn’t ignore the last 3 years as that was the opportunity to prove both tech and management competence. Unfortunately they proved neither with overwhelming evidence.

Averaging down at present is just a gamble, not an investment - but please do as all buying helps.

But if you’re not spending the money outside your ISA or the money in your ISA what are you going to spend the £1mn on?

I’m just looking at trusts / IHT avoidance now. Spend about £7k on trust set up fees to save about £400 k IHT - seems too good to be true.

Broom - yep me too. It always seem people are asking after they have bought the shares!!! A simple search would give them legit info from a reputable source rather than anonymous posters on here.

Think Terry’s point is that Institutional Investors have read the RNS, crunched the numbers, looked into the crystal ball and are now willing to buy at £13 - whereas they were buying at £14.

The deal might go down well in the future - no evidence it is in the present. The SP tells us current sentiment; plus shorters haven’t all run away in terror since the RNS.

I never quite got the logic of not extracting and burning our own national fossil fuels but importing and burning those that generate profits in other countries.

Are they cheap for a company with a single market, selling oil locally at a fraction of its value, with arbitration expenses pending and a customer unable to pay backdated debt?

Or cheap for an international oil company with a pipeline to the international market and a host nation that pays its debts and honours its contracts?????

Rusty has been overtly clear on the dividend. It’s 29c a quarter for at least the next two years (so 3 years in total).

Their declared cash allocation strategy is then acquisitions, regular pay down of debt then BBs - highly likely in that order.

No dividend increase or special dividends anytime soon.

If only that was EQT’s problem!!!!

I’d welcome a problem as simple. It’s way more complex and focussed on incompetent people who can’t do their jobs or tell the truth.

Think the structure of the deal (part merger) with EIG retaining 20% of the enterprise and existing Maverick shareholders getting 10% of the company his new shares make it clear that DEC are diversifying from LNG with some leftover liquids.

2 new EIG board members are presumably for their experience in non DEC core activities.

All looks good - but how long before the impact is felt on the share price?????
