BP clearly think SOMO is going to marginalise KRG influence in the oil export from KRG to the wider world.

Think LWHL and Rick have hit the key point in the short term, staff retention.

No bonuses, holdings in share schemes decimated, pay rises in next few years unlikely, BoD seemingly unaccountable for abject failure, potential takeover looming….

I’ve been in the contracting world for many years- the good ones will soon find someone else to take them in; or, so many will leave that WG will be forced to hire contractors to replace key staff to meet project commitments.

Ask yourself, if I was good at my job why would I not be looking elsewhere rather than staying in WG with little hope of improved position in next few years?

I see from Jan’s RNS the shares are not being cancelled but held in treasury. As they’re not saving any dividends with this strategy guess they’re hoping to re-sell them later (or even worse give them to staff).

Surely for optimal shareholder return they should just cancel them so we all own a slightly larger % of the company?

Exporting the oil is easy - it’s getting paid for it that has been the problem for 10 years.

I’ve had a trailing stop loss since £7.50 but still hanging on.

Think I’ll sell just before xd day and miss the inevitable drop after xd. But might buy half back if drop is overdone.

Strange, and perhaps sub optimal, that they have an RNS for a £5mn buyback programme but then lose a £15Mn buyback in the middle of a block of text about an investor presentation.

Hopefully a bespoke BB RNS to help inform duffers like me.
