The numbers weren’t fiction and the maths didn’t lie for positive cashflow forecasts earlier than 2026 - right up until they were fiction and the maths did lie.

Forecasts from this BoD haven’t been matched by reality for years.

Morbox - correct, but I still don’t think the IOCs know payment structures and timings.

All legal agreements to date are just KRG passing oil to SOMO and getting $16/barrel for it.

Seem to miss the point that IOCs own the rights to the fields and have made the investments to extract and pump the oil.

Long way to go before IOCs actually get a fair price and shareholders get a reward.

Whilst the numbers, the words and the forecasts all paint a rosy picture from 2026 onwards, the question no-one has answered (and Ice has been asked several times) is why should we believe the data from the proven incompetent and dishonest management team???

Forecasts looked good 12 months ago but were incorrect (dishonest?) and proven to be a false dawn.

For sustained confidence we need a new BoD and a new forecast. Still no comms from these muppets.

Prophet - I’m happy with the heat and aware of the realities. Ten years of history tells me that it takes more than a few press announcements to agree and adhere to a robust, profitable arrangement with these “partners.”

We’re still a way off that so don’t go celebrating too early. Cashflow and dividends trump X postings.

You can believe it when it happens. I’ll only be happy once an ioc actually receives a fair price reported oil and payment of recoverables starts again. Still feels like that’s a long way off and we’re expected to finance Iraq and krg’s cashflow for years.

The last 10 years has been nothing but argument over contracts, payments, monies owed and arbitration. And that was just with KRG - now SOMO is involved it gets even more complex.

It’s taken 2 years to agree production and transport costs. There’s sale price, profit split between Iraq and IOCs, payments for oil, repayment of monies owed, payments for pipeline and transfer of funds between Iraq and KRG to sort out yet - what could possibly take more than a few days???

We are still owed for 2020 exports!

If you can’t understand the implications and complexities of Baghdad / KRG politics and how that impacts oil generation and export then you’re probably better off sticking to Premium Bonds.
