My view has always been that 85% of a big number is better than 100% of a much smaller number.
Nice drop last few days in time for dividend re-investment.

Of course there may also be people who bought in based on BoD forecasts / expectations / promises and now feel let down by continued delays, poor financial planning and an inability to actually close out a deal and get the forecast income.
They might also feel let down by repeated fund raises to cover the poor forecasting, they might feel the continued issuing of huge numbers of shares is diluting their holdings.
In between ramping and negative is that grey area of reality where some of us live and we have the right to comment as we see it.
We all hope things get better, most of us think with better management they may have not got this bad. Share Price movement seems to back our thoughts not Aandi’s at present.

Wilco, they do not have multi billion off takes. They have expressions of interest that might be worth lots (if VLS can get its ducks in a row) or may be worth zilch.

Shame an agreement wasn’t reached 75 days ago and we wouldn’t have lost 1.5 Bn!
Now is not the time to lose production and sales over a pay dispute.

After years of 130 being a robust resistance level it seems to have settled as a new support level, following classic TA theory.
Given it’s been about 10p higher recently I doubt many sellers are tempted here and it looks a bit expensive for new buyers so think we might float about here collecting a nice dividend til we get some new acquisitions, a divi increase or hopefully not, some more bad environmental press.

Standing charge is way more than an admin fee. It also covers all the feed in tarrif PV payments made to early investors (I pick up about £400 per year), all the costs incurred by companies picking up customers from companies going bust and a Govt imposed levy paying for other green initiatives.
It ain’t going to be getting smaller over next few years.

The hedging is a core part of Rusty’s strategy to guarantee cashflow and dividend cover.

CJ, my biggest holding is DEC, an American gas company listed in the uk. 10 % dividend and great strategy. Unlikely to get much of a share price increase from current price but if you can buy on dips and like 10% then I think it’s pretty low risk.

I’m certainly helping with demand destruction at a personal level. Haven’t used the car (30 mpg) for about 6 weeks, taking the motorbike (60mpg) for about 1500 miles recently. Will this hold up in wet weather?
Also getting batteries fitted to my PV system. It hasn’t been worth it to date, but now looks like it will be.
Plenty of logs harvested for the wood burner so won’t be using the ground source heating as much this Winter.

Very happy with the movement just wish I understood the reasons behind it a bit better.

MM, do you think tech analysis is as applicable for AIM stocks as it is for bigger indexes?
I’d have thought SP was much more volatile and potentially driven more by quick changing news rather than people buying/selling on TA.
As an example, biggest move in recent history was on signed offtake agreements. No way TA can predict those sorts of events.
Happy that support and resistance lines might play a role in peoples’ subconscious reaction to prices they’d like to trade at but not sure about anything more.

Looks like fears of yet another windfall tax are hitting the share price today (BP as well).
Conservatives now desperate to court public opinion and save next election.
Hopefully Truss’s Conservative core values (low taxes, market forces, small state etc) will see a sensible long term solution that assists those in need whilst speeding up energy transition and maintaining uk energy security.
