Don't mean to dampen the mood but markets not looking good today, could be a sell off.

Every time I've added recently it's dropped further, now holding 30k shares averaged at 257, got no choice but to ride it out.
I really am beginning to think that Biden is bad for the markets and business in general.
It's taken him 2-3 weeks of rising cases in the US to even have a plan which he is due to announce tomorrow.
And you can bet it will be caution caution and more caution, result being fear , news frenzy about winter surges. Its just getting so boring g now.
I'm 53, have not had one covid test since it started, have not been ill as far as I know, I'm just careful.
The reality is its with us indefinitely, so just get a grip, if you refuse a vaccine tough luck, no NHS for you , take the consequences, the rest of us can get back to normal

I do cry ST because I am nursing a huge loss too, 100k shares at 75 and 60k at 86 in my isa with no way of averaging down.
It seems there is only really cause to moan about the sp in months.

This afternoon probably now wall street is open!

Barclays 2% up in 3 months, Lloyds 10% down.
Says it all really.
Who needs a progressive dividend when you have a SP like this.
Without looking I would also bet that Natwest and Virgin are up on 3 months.

Even IAG with its huge debt, no travel corridor to the US is up today, what the hell is going on with this, there must be more to it than covid sentiment.

That is considerable volume today, needs a bit of a boost this share, been stuck around 220s for a while now, since very encouraging results.

I know its daily pain right now.
Everything I buy a tranche and feel it won't go any lower, lower it goes.
Been buying since 270, last 2 purchase were 251 and 243. Got about 25k shares now so these large drops are increasing my paper loss figure.
The fundamentals of this company seem good, so I am assuming that this poor sentiment is is delta in North America related, hopefully it will peak there soon and better news will start coming.
However with sleepy "Jo" at the helm, not expecting anything any time soon.

When this was announced in July last year on 29th detailing the listing to raise funds to make the purchase, the shares fell about 9% on that RNS.
Material impact and benefits of this deal are not expected until 2024, so currently not priced in to sp.
What sort of market reaction are people expecting when this completes?
