I have been clobbered all round since 1st July, micro focus down 15k, CINE down 18k, IAG 4k, ITV 2k, f-----g crazy!!!
But this was 330 in Feb/March can't even remember without looking, and it will eventually turnaround.
I am quite concerned having listened to the sombre tone of the PM press conference, they sounded worried for the winter.
But hopefully the US will be past their current wave, and NEX will pick up accordingly.
I think NEX follows the US and the Dow more than FTSE.
As long as we hold, we will be ok.

Never thought 2 weeks ago that my NEX investment would be over 10 k in the red, depressing to watch but what can you do.
And before you say it OWLS, no not selling at a 10 k loss to buy back cheaper, NEX will be back up soon.

Yeah as hard as it is to see your capital value go down and down, and may go down a lot further yet, if you can hold for a year plus, you will be rewarded. Let's not forget what this was trading at pre covid.

You are right but then again 50 % of revenues are contractual so NEX get paid anyway, but yeah probably linked to the US current wave.

I'm no chartist but I was advised last week a basic rule of thumb is if the sp is below the 200 SMA then sell ( and it is ) because it is still falling, and when above buy.
That is all I know.
It's irrelevant for long term holders and people who intend to take up an RI, however some might argue sell now and buy back cheaper.
So I cannot see how the SP can be predicted, but what do I know, not a lot!!

Read somewhere today that possible takeover of EZJ or merger with Wizz air is being speculated.
EZJ announced it had declined an offer from Wizz Air last week.
Possibly a good time to buy with positive pcr test news and traffic light news being amended soon.
I'm in IAG so possibly facing RI there but feel BA is going to come through this, not much competition for transatlantic market, similar to CINE really in UK cinema market.

I agree with your comments, and the reply you received from IR gives me great faith and feel much more secure about currently seeing a paper loss. In particular this quote
"the strategy that will deliver sustainable growth over the next few years, together with the financial framework and outlook. "

She doesn't say strategy that should, or we hope, or we believe, she says that WILL deliver.
Not sure if there's much to be read into something like a choice of words but I found it quite telling.
As for Adès sub 2 quid, maybe shorting it.

I read today the the BA London -JFK transatlantic route was the first billion dollar route between 2018-2019, which emphasises what impact it will have when the US opens its borders.
