Yeah these AKO have increased their position with NEX 3 consecutive days, timing it just right to gain on bad sentiment.
But they could easily get burnt at any time.

The main drop happened from 5th July 87p to the 15th 57 p, and we've never recovered since.
Almost 40 % drop in 10 days, and all 4 days before freedom day.

Shorts increased again yesterday, f-----s wish they all choked on it!

These B----y new shorts AKO have increased again, they are becoming a real opinion in the neck.

It's not a case of looking for quick returns, and a general decline is expected with market sentiment.
But on 5th July this was 87 and in 10 days it was battered down to 57 on 15th July, and never really recovered any of that enormous drop over 10 days.
It's left me for one nursing a 30k paper loss, so personally the way this share has performed I would be ecstatic to break even, I really would.
And with half of that loss in an isa and no means of averaging down, it well and truly sucks to be a shareholder.
There was never any reason or explanation for that almost 40% drop in 10 days just prior to freedom day.
I feel we were mugged off somehow.

This is becoming disastrous without any news, soon be heading to year lows at this rate.

SP heading south like this on a positive day is cause for concern. I'm just so tired of this, been 6 months of thus S--t now. One film isn't going to save a company.

This has to be US related, someone else posted lack of drivers, possible penalties if unable to complete a service, just depressing to watch every day.
NEX are not in financial trouble just lumped in with international stocks with very poor sentiment.
When NEX announced at the beginning of the year when we were in lockdown, that it was suspending all UK services, the SP increased on that day, and was well over 3 quid.

Any excuse for MMs to halt a UK companies SP recovery.
If it was announced as a cost saving measure, this would be 3% up.

Exactly, love him or loathe him at least Trump was a leader, Biden is terrible for US growth / business.

Should save costs by closing those stores, should be seen as a positive.

You're buzzing like you're on Speed at the thought of an RI !!!

The original speculation was that they might time an RI with the US re-opening to make the most of a favourable operating background, so seeing as that remains unknown, possibly they are waiting to announce it as and when Biden announces news on their borders re-opening.

If an RI does come, won't it affect the future ability of the SP to ever reach pre-covid levels because there will be so many more shares in circulation?
Just thinking of other companies, RR, Kier, CPI, Lloyds .

Wish I heard that saying " sell in May and go away" earlier.
I don't think September's a great month either but hoping that October onwards ( restrictions or not ) things will improve.
Hopefully my NEX 251, IAG 157, and CINE 75 will all seem like decent prices this time next year.
And Micro Focus I paid 500 for and they're 380, I'm hoping that by 2023 they'll be 1500 plus.
