Interesting post Yorkshire. I am not convinced that much has changed in humanity when you strip out political correctness and governance. It seems that technology and the ability to kill each other has made huge leaps forward but underneath it all mankind is still a tribal animal. Far too deep for a mid day post. I will get my coat!

With each successive positive RNS across their range of licences, the pressure increases. Like the San Andreas fault - you know that there will be one mother of an earthquake in the future - just a question of time!
I have posted before about the possibility of a placing if finance to move all these new prospects can not be financed in another way. Timing is the key. Some short term investors see this as a negative - but I am long term so I see the prospect as a positive.
Next year is going to be amazing - the year after out of this world - well that is how I see the future anyway!

The key here is that the minimum price for a bid will be at least the minimum in the last 12 months of that price paid by the offeror - so if they paid 1.60 for some shares than that is the lowest price they can bid. It has nothing to do with the general price movement. But just remember that they will need 30% either on their own or with interested parties. I just don't think it will happen here.

Not my area of expertise but think that you are referring to Rule 9.5a of the City Code of Mergers and Acquisitions (assuming that this has not changed) whereby the buyer (offerer - or if on concert any of the offers) must offer a price not less than they themselves paid for the stock in the 12 months prior to the offer. I think that they need at least 30% of the voting shares though to even go there and hence my comment about the TR1.
Happy to be corrected though - I repeat this is not my area of expertise.

Richard - fully agree. In it's transparency the Bank should also declare hoe many payouts have been made to claimants who 1. actually benefitted from the insurance whilst either ill or unemployed and 2. - and this one really annoys me! to claimants who never paid the money back - i.e. defaulted on the loan and therefore never actually paid the PPI premium in the first place!!
I would love for that latter question to be asked at the next AGM!

Some will have banked profits from chasing rainbows elsewhere and I expect some will find itself here over the coming days. Ours is no rainbow though in my mind unless you want to draw the analogy of gold the end of the story!

This is certainly a share that you only invest what you can afford to lose or be prepared to wait. There will be many worried PI's here from yesterday.
I am not invested - too volatile for me and I have enough war stories to tell already.
