Whatever the news tonight - whether stellar or average, that we will not be disappointed if the SP drops. We have seen it before and we will see it again until the news is sufficient to bring in the II's and the true rerate starts. I personally have every confidence that this will happen but I have no idea whether that will be this month Q1 2020 or Q3 2020 - but I am confident that it will happen. I don't want to dampen the party atmosphere but I have been there and got so many T-Shirts that the only thing that I do know is that it pays to have patience and then reserves of patience after the first batch runs out!I

Hi Kempsey. Sorry just read you previous post. No..My understanding of I have it right this time! is they get their % via money spent on proving up the resource through their spend.

I share that view Mickey. My only question is when and I suspect a big part of the BoD thinking will be around amount and timings for capital requirements for other projects. Or they might chose to raise money on the back of the Proven and Probable and retain the income stream but the impact on the SP will still be positive.

Christophe. The price would be based on the proven and probable value. USD 160 per oz. Is the largest number I have seen. Newcrest add value through mining it out of the ground and processing. We currently see gold gold trading at close to USD 1500. Take one from the other gives you the gross profit. Take away the overheads for extracting and processing leaves NC with her profit. They need the in ground resource to start their value adding activity. That is why they might wish to buy out GGP. The price of gold in the ground increases with the certainty of the deposit. Let NC use their cash to prove up so we get the best price IMO.

ATB for the forthcoming news. I have already had a couple of beers - either a pre celebration or it will help me sleep irrespective!

I have been signed up since Aug and had a range of timings for updates - earliest Cadia update at 22.39 and latest the Annual Report at 00.51. Throw in 00.06 and 23.54 for the 2 other releases and you can take your pick!

Maybe part of the sell on news brigade irrespective ..... on the other hand.......who cares. Keep your eye to the horizon.
