I have scan read for any mention of impact on dividend intention but could not spot anything - any one else see anything? It would be bad news if they reduced it and hope that they will at least maintain.

I find it difficult to comprehend the volume / value of claims in the last quarter and can not help but wonder whether they have made a provision based on the received claims rather than actual researched / calculated / proven /agreed numbers? I strongly suspect that there must be a large amount of spurious claims or people attempting a second bite of the cherry for the same policy. I could be very wrong but where have these genuine claimants been for the last several years! Did Arnie make that much difference?

Chester - I think the tipping point is about % certainty of future revenue - that is the game - when to show your hand to make the most profit - hey that is why we are all here right now!. I agree that 2020 is going to be a transformational year for Greatland. So many ducks are being lined up here!!

After another great RNS I wait with interest to see how the BoD play their next move. An accelerated drilling programme will require finance and the question is will this be negotiated pre or post stage 2 of Haverion. I am obviously going for the latter and the support that this should give to the SP. If there is a placing as I think there will be at this stage in Q1 2020, I do not see this as a bad thing - I see this as a great thing! We are an exploration company and we need money to prove up the resources to make money. We could just have Havieron mark 1,2,3,4 here? - who knows!
Love this company and the market will catch up with my feelings in good time!

Timid. IMO the reason for selling has nothing to do with the potential and known facts and everything thing to do with other stocks rising and hopes of riding a wave. There is a feeding frenzy going on and some can not resist when there is blood in the water. Some are going to get burnt imo. Some will return here with profits and some will regret. Normal AIM greed mentality.
All looking good here in my view. Just wish I had spare funds to make another top up!

I am not invested but like many watching with interest from the sidelines. I can not help but wonder if we have UKOG investors here and whether they recognise the tone of comments and SP movement. An old investor once told me that the secret to his success was to leave a little for the next man.

You have to applaud our BoD. They are acting with integrity and professionalism in my view. Doing the daily grind to move this company forward, step by step, watching pennies and having an uncanny knack of hitting the right zones at the right time. Callum has a nose for gold and together with GH and CL, I have the utmost faith that they will make my retirement a very comfortable one.
I was brought up in an age when you didn't expect everything today - you knew that things took time and you had a different expectations and frankly you appreciated the small things. In my mind GGP is moving at an incredibly quick pace for a small market cap mining exploration company at the moment and to have the relationship with NC at this stage is frankly incredible.
I enjoy reading this board and learning from people that certainly appear to have industry knowledge and there are some like Paddy and DJ who are happy to share their hard work and thoughts - thank you.
My investment mantra has always and will always be - don't invest a penny more than you can afford to lose and you have to be prepared to be very patient. Manage your own expectations - don't rely on others - you invested here so take responsibility for your own actions and if you are losing money at the moment, please remember why you invested and the fundamentals behind GGP and where this is going and then take a deep breath and look around you.
Mid week and I am feeling very philosophical - humour an old chap and please please be patient - this is an gold mining exploration company - understand what you have invested in.

It would be incredibly risky to borrow to invest in any share - don't get carried away and only invest what you can afford to lose or wait for 5 years+ to recoup.

So much positivity in the future direction of this company in the annual results and reference to their 5 year strategy and the potential for monetisation within 3 to 5 years. Monetisation is of course a direct link to the SP but I don't believe that we will have to wait that long for the positive movements in the SP - that will come from added certainty as NC move through the stages of the agreement and of course lets not forget the other projects. Look also for their references to the Safety Management System - not 'wow' comments but clear messages to the industry that the company continues to up their game as they want to be shown as serious professional players on the global gold mining stage.
Do not be afraid of further money being raised in 2020 - we need funds to continue to ramp up exploration on the other projects - this is not a bad thing and I trust GH to make the beast deal out there. He will understand the cash burn and the trade off of waiting for Haverion to further prove up and we hope improve either his ability to raise on the capital markets or command a higher placing price. With so much personal potential wealth on the line over the next few years via their options, I fully trust this BoD to make great decisions on behalf of the shareholders.
How do I view recent movements? I am not surprised and it gives me time for other investments to move forward and I hope an ability to move more funds into GGP which I will leave in for the 3 to 5 year journey and I have a chunk that I have earmarked for 10 years if we have not been purchased outright by then.

Trippytaka. I know that it is frustrating knowing (well, believing) that the future here is very bright and it is not reflected in the SP but I really don't understand comments which have been said many times by many people on this board about the AIM market not recognising the potential. Whilst the MM's certainly can and do I think play games with dropping prices to trigger stop losses, fundamentally the SP is governed by supply and demand forces and that is investors. I am reluctant to even use the word investors in many cases as traders are control here and they are not investors - they are speculators trying to be one step ahead of the next person. That is why we see SP fall on the receipt of good news - it defies logic if the logic you are applying is that SP reflects potential - at the moment it simply doesn't BUT if and when the II's are triggered to entering we will see more stability and an upward momentum to better reflect the worth of the company - which will be a factor of known proven resource. If anyone can give me a better explanation of what is happening then I will be happy to hear it.

Question....how does the average investor short a stock? It would need a credit line with a stock broker presumably? Can not imagine there are many around but could be wrong.

CB. You have a number of investors here that are continuing to hold, myself included. The movement is caused by traders. Little we can do about that. Our patience will be rewarded though. I have no doubts at all.

Ask yourself one question - why should these one set of results - excellent as there are, in isolation trigger a raft of new money into this stock? At the sake of repeating myself, we need the threshold (whatever that is) to be breached in terms of news (could be stage 2 / could be the first official resource est, who knows) to open the stock to II's. Simple in my view. Until then this is a trading stock for many. Not me - I am useless at trading. Happy to wait.

bertoferreal - I don't think so. What the market requires (the II's to be precise) is a higher level of certainty - on size and timeline to potential production in my view. Then the SP will rerate in a substantial way. Just my thoughts on the matter.
