and I have made the leap that this is going to production (not if but when in my mind) and I am visualising NC using this greenfield site to showcase the technological advances made in the mining industry of the last decade including automation / driverless trucks etc - all with a view to minimising extraction costs and maximising safety. It is going to be fascinating whether GGP retains a % or not.

Simple message to all prospective investors - 1. stop reading this BB until you have read the RNS's over the last 2 years and read all on GGP's website about their projects 2. read about Newcrest / their operating model / their technology, safety record and community projects 3. research the likely direction of gold prices over the next 10 years 4. come back here and you will be prepared to make an informed decision on who is ramping / who isn't and who is trying to share well researched information and interpretation. 5. decide on how much to invest if any and make sure that you have no time barriers on waiting for your investment to come good (if at all - nothing is 100% certain).
All simple stuff and rules to follow on AIM irrespective of your experience.

Hi Jerry - the proximity of our Patterson prospects to Telfer increases the possibility of discoveries being commercial - costs of production of course being a factor in the equation. Patterson alone in my view over the next 2 to 3 years has the potential to exceed all of our wildest dreams here. Oh for a crystal ball!!

Quepensa - fully agree and I think most here are expecting just that - more drill results and maybe, just maybe confirmation that we have entered or will be entering stage 3 of the JV agreement. We all believe that this (stage 3) is bolted on given the recent presentation in Vancouver but the market needs to hear confirmation from the horses mouth!

Paddy - you make a very good point about the longer the time to establish the resource the better - this is not about queuing for the labs anymore as there is real time on site feedback - this is because they are still trying to find the boundaries!
Your strategy mirrors mine and I have also been increasing my average price over the last 3 weeks and happy to do so!

Thanks apple. I think there is a difference between an ana!yst recommending a M&A which has been touted in the past and will I am sure he regurgitated again by someone in the future and a n investment bank being formally engaged to advise on a M&A strategy. I know you have not said anything along those lines but one could read the article and jump to that conclusion. I believe it Deutche had been engaged to provide advice this would be an NDA,d project and the last place you would see mention of it would be in a press article.
