Sorry - make that additional 3 holes - there was one in the row at that time but in retrospect you could clearly see where the were looking to drill others - the additional 3 which we can now see in the line and potentially 5 others which we have not seen yet.

Morning Paddy. Up early an playing with the sentinel app this morning. I am sure that you have looked at every combo on the effects button and ability to change the Gain / Gamma etc but this one worked particularly well for me and it showed something interesting on 2019-11-12. Gain1/Gamma1.8/R1/G 0.683/B 0.666. If you look at the area where we now have the 4 in a row to the south east, you can make out the areas of land that the intended to drill before hand - not only the additional 2 but a number of others in a grid matrix surrounding that line. Maybe the next holes that have yet to be revealed?

I might be being doing many a disservice when I say that I suspect a growing proportion of new money here does not know the history, the scope of the licences or have taken more than a cursory interest in any of the RNS releases over the last 2 or 3 years. They will however have been hooked in by the dreams of making money in the short term before they go on to pastures new and they stand a very good chance in my opinion of doing just that at this stage. However this BB is a great forum to acquire insights that might otherwise slip through the net - Paddy's eye in the sky being the most obvious example and why it pays to try and separate the wheat from the chaff here imo.

Thanks Mickey and I value yours and many others posts. opinions, research and current analysis on this BB. If you are right and we get an early buyout then I would be very happy if it was at the right price but for me, I would be disappointed if the price was south of 35p - not because I think that it can be valued at that at the moment but because I believe the potential could be well north of that figure as the other licences are proved up. I am entrenched within the patient camp.

I concur with the sentiment about 2020 being Greatlands year - but I would add that I expect that 2020 will be the start of a number of "Greatland years" as the other projects start to receive greater attention and finance in their journey through the mining project lifecycle. Many talk about the market not understanding the potential of Haverion - I wonder how many of the new investors understand the potential of the licences that GH and CB have so brilliantly accumulated. The challenge now is finance and timing to bring them on stream whilst keeping investor sentiment on board by preventing undue dilution at a low price - that is why we are so fortunate in having a JV with Haverion as it unlock the future funding opportunities for the other licences. Investors need to realise the long game here and not what the SP is going to be next month imo.

By way of context, the Rio take over piece is not original thinking on the part of the Deutche analyst - a JP Morgan analyst was writing a similar story in 2010 so whilst interesting I am not holding my breath on this particular speculation.

Sometimes worth reminding ourselves why value and SP can be very different.

We should see a convergence over the coming weeks / months / years in terms of what many here (including myself) consider to be the underlying (as yet unproved) value as opposed to the SP. We are still in the hands of traders at the moment and whilst they will always factor into any stock SP movements, as assets are proved up and institutional investors take a greater share of the stock, the volatility will dampen. All basic stuff I know but those posters who bang on about the SP at the moment just need to take a wider view of market forces and IF they believe in the potential they just need to manage their own timeline expectations. Too many people judge by instant gratification in my personal view.

Hi Goldinvestor - appreciate you elaborating. I think that we are fully aligned as to the potential here but I just don't see a buy out. My reasoning is that GGP is an exploration company - their operating model is to take projects as far down the prove of concept route as possible - that is where they add value to their asset. To sell out any time over the next 2 to 3 years would stop the company maximising it's potential but as yet untapped value. GH has stated he is looking to take this to a £1B MC company and he knows that this is a conservative estimate if the Patterson range continues to reveal Haverion type deposits and therefore why would he sell for pence when it could be pounds? I have discounted a hostile bid from Newcrest on reputational considerations in my view.
Anyway .....cutting to the chase - if you are right and we get a big pay out I am happy. If we don't I am equally happy because I think time will bring larger rewards. Good debating point by the way!

Owlo - you are right but I suspect that GH and the BoD would wish to do a fair price deal with NC and keep them sweet for the other Patterson prospects.

Goldinvestor. With respect you keep mentioning possible buyouts. How would either company be able to do calculate a fair price of the asset portfolio given the various stages (some in their infancy) of exploration? Remember that they had to justify to their respective shareholders. Newcrest is a miner not an exploration company as far as I know. There might be a case at the end of stage 4 for an offer to be made for the 30% and not just the 5% but that would be Haverion and not the company.
I am a huge fan of GGP as my posting history will testify but we need to sanity check our dreams against how large corporates work and their internal governance and the operating models of both of GGP and NC. Haverion is progressing wonderfully and news will continue to flow from here and the other projects - it's all good and I firmly believe patience will be hugely rewarded here.

Thirdman. Agree with your assessment of the interview. This was unlike other recent interviews in that this was a series of staged planned statements. GH would have considered carefully the words he used and to my ear, the way he spoke about the future and feasibility reminded me of an assumptive sale technique. There appears no question in his mind that stage 3 will commence. Good enough for me!

It has been a good day. Not a surprise to many here but welcome. There are plenty of new names here and it is starting to feel like a big of a feeding frenzy. I am looking forward to seeing whether we have clear skies for PG,s update tomorrow and wondering whether CB and GH will be watching as well. Personally I can not see a buy out for a number of years....there is too much to prove up. What an issue to have!
