RE: First millend payment made and another new digger onsite22 May 2023 12:24
Hi ID.
In terms of the outside company being engaged, this is entirely normal for a relatively small outfit like Caracal - they need an independent company to be able to come along and verify the tonnage / grades which I am sure that the finance company will also want for their due diligence. Much larger outfits will have their own in house teams that would be able to do the lions share of this work but we know that GCAT have a lean management team and it will be more economical to outsource I'm sure. When the plan is produced I am sure that Robbie will be sharing with the market and this should be another building block to restoring confidence that the company has the capability, capacity and resource to be able to meet their strategic objectives.
For those not following the company on Twitter, 2 things:
1. Why not??
2. Here is today's post:
“Smelt day” Monday good luck to Nico and the team. Caracal and Kili teams looking forward to a good week, production, financing and community the focus …. Wish all our stakeholders a good week.
