The Company submitted the first draft of the prospectus to the FCA for approval on 18 April 2023. The Company is working with its advisers to seek approval of the prospectus by the FCA and will update the market in due course.

I have no experience in how long these things take with the FCA - have you? I imagine it is not a quick process and how many times do they go backwards and forwards to clarify points? First draft indicates there might be several iterations to come. Personally I welcome the delay as it gives the company more time to generate cash to run down the Mill End debt from my perspective.

Itsyou - I am sure that you can find many things wrong with most companies if that is your focus. But the thing is they are not on AIM. For my money whilst it is important to get the website fully up to date, it is good to see that the directorship changes are reflected for instance. I am sure the other gaps will be filled in. For my money I want Robbie focusing on the key issues of the day rather than concentrating on the website - number one and number one (yes I know I said one, twice!) being to keep the production going whilst sorting out the funding. The prospectus is another issue and this will be sorted as well soon enough - just not soon enough for many here which I understand.

Quite possibly Suggins - I guess that the due diligence will have included a review of the board and value adding activities - all goes to the business model and profitability alongside capability to execute on the strategic objectives - after all that will be the funding repayment source.

Makes sense to me SW - feels to me like we have a near term positive inflection point here.

I acknowledge many investors will want to see the black and white detail before committing but that is the risk reward dilemma we all face with investments.

Ask yourself - why would they want to remove people from the board at this point - to make space perhaps and if so for whom? Its getting exciting people.

Recovery nicely and very quickly when news breaks in my view - narrow spread at the moment - 0.3582 v 0.3689 on a £5K trade.

Thanks Ben. The key to ramping up production to 2K oz per month is very much dependent on the funding. Might be worth following the company on twitter as whilst no official updates, there have been recent comments alluding to progress.

There is the possibility Aprogerson that GCAT might attract more institutional investors when funding is announced andthe uncertainty element of the equation is removed - stickier hands would be very welcome if that was the case.

To my way of thinking at the moment the word dilution can equally be applied to the current market capitalisation - so when funding news breaks and if there is an element of dilution in the share register, one would logically expect there to be a significant and perhaps greater counter balance in the MC being reappraised against short term increases in earnings as a result of the capital injection. Of course the greatest flaw in my logic is that I used the word logically!!

I think that for balance we can certainly assume that the company has the pedal to the metal and doing all they can under the present cashflow constraints to generate as much gold /cash as possible to minimise any potential Mill End share payout. Whether that number ends up at nil only time will tell. Fingers crossed!

LTHcine - In terms of the second payment - the company tweet dated May 26th says the second payment was made then.

Whilst you could hear a pin drop here, I bet it's a little bit noisier at Kilimapesa with all the heavy earth moving plant in operation based on the latest photo update.

Lots of progress at the Caracal level can only mean one thing - funding progress.

Crunching away at that Mill End debt out of production - hard graft every day by all members of the Caracal team - delivering on their strategy. Anyone in any doubt that they are not going to deliver on financing and then really show what production is about with the upgrades?
