Just did some dummy trades on £5K - NT to buy and 0.4286 to sell - big order being worked on?? How do others see it?

Very good point Suggins - we have seen a very new and conservative approach to comms from Robbie over the last few months since those who shall not be named, walked out - his level of confidence in a successful conclusion to a JV agreement must be extremely high to warrant that tweet. Discussions must also be very advanced given he is targeting the conclusion of the JV. In the words of the tweet - game changing for Caracal if achieved. My money is on Robbie bringing home the bacon here rather than egg on his face!

100% agree apro - that's why I am hoping for successful negotiations - a JV removing the requirement for Caracal to try and raise the finance would be a perfect solution at this time. Go Robbie!!

Hi SW - negotiating doesn’t need an RNS but of course if they sign that will absolutely need an RNS. Negotiations can lead to nothing but let’s hope that’s not the case here! A JV hopefully with a partner with deep pockets could be absolutely what we need to fast track TZ into the picture. Robbie maybe a miner but he could also put on an entertaining show spinning plates at the moment!! Very busy chap.

I think that I will be preaching to the converted when I say the current MC at circa £7.5M is really akin to that of an explorer and certainly not a producer with short term potential (subject to funding) of substantially increasing that production to 24K oz pa. POG continues rot play its part holding way above the base business case number.

For anyone like me who likes to have google finance on in the background, I am sure that you have already learned to disregard the intra day peaks and toughs in the day - currently the 0.35 and 0.45 trades. Whilst the 0.45 trades gives you a nice sense of increase, of course it's not a true representation of the trades that will ultimately move the SP - unless the heard arrives with their £20 trades and that would need to be some herd! With the greatest respect to those people using the commission free platforms, they are designed for small players who dabble. Horses for courses and I hope whatever type of ride you are on, that you ultimately come out ahead.

I have it in my mind that Robbie was talking Q3 for finance news - trying to find the interview but struggling if anyone can help. Q3 is rapidly approaching.

That spread must be on a commission free platform - that spread is how they make their money in the absence of a fee. On a fee paying platform the spread is closer to 6% - still wide enough - 0.3861 / 0.4085 on £5K trade

No gold has been stolen. Security being tightened up that’s all. A good move by the company. Advertising the pour was to satisfy us shareholders but created a security risk in the process. End of story.

Security concerns will of course become one of those growing nice to have considerations as production increases down the line.

Didn’t see it but makes good security sense not to publicise gold pours and presumably then movement. Tweet probably deleted for the same security reasons after someone considered it further.

As an observation the spread is incredibly tight this morning - 0.351 v 0.359 on a £5K trade.

Thanks Legalwolf. I wasn’t aware of time frames - whatever the reason for the extended time to get this sorted, I still think that it’s played to holders advantage as Mill End will end up with less and hopefully no further shares.

The longer the wait for the prospectus the better in my view. Now the funding news is a different matter - bring it on.
