I get the impression Suggins that the presentation is trying to be as positive as it can whilst remaining factual and conservative. I think its all part of the company's new and improved comms strategy and I suspect we are also seeing a case of under promise and over deliver here. Time will be the judge of that of course. To my mind Robbie is an energetic visionary in the African mining space. The old Robbie would have been like the young bull on the hill wanting to race down the hill to the herd below, shouting his intentions as he went and now we have the old bull, Simon by his side giving words of guidance. So in a measured fashion they are walking down the hill at pace but make no bones, that herd will be serviced!
Other analogies can be applied but that one can immediately to mind for some reason.
ATB and lets hope the seller has nearly done and the SP gets back on track to more realistic levels today given the wealth of good news we have had this week alone.

I’m sure most here follow the company on Twitter but if you don’t I would encourage you to have a look. We get useful insights on almost a daily basis into the daily events of the company and today was no exception. It’s smelt day again but also a little update in supporting the community with the bridge. It’s telling that they have the capacity to do this and it’s also the actions of a responsible company working in partnership with local government and residents. Big thumbs up!!

I think we have one holder selling here - look at the trades in detail and looks like one holder selling 21M - if it wasn't for them I suspect we would be in the 0.60's now. The positive is that is does create an opportunity to top up on this weeks fantastic news.

Personally I don't think that is necessary sniffer - we are in a new age of transparency and realism - we already know that there were challenges in Q1 with power outages for example but we have also been given an insight into the start of Q2 and the impact of the high grade zones. Absolutely no reason to try and disguise or delay. The delay in itself would only raise a new batch of conspiracy theories. Time for Robbie and Caracal to hold their heads high and continue to move forward at the blistering pace now set. Personally I am hoping for example that OCIM does not get another mention - it's history - they are history and I think they might regret their decision.

This announcement might not be a sexy production or resource update but it is an important appointment from an external institutional perspective, as well as a vote of confidence from Simon himself - no one with his credentials would join Caracal unless he saw a great future. Finally acknowledgment that another promise is about to be fulfilled- the review.
Certainly is a busy week! Robbie presenting this morning. Q1 update must be close as well.

I make no bones in believing in the company and in Robbie’s ability to deliver here. If he can accused of anything it was probably of being too trusting - I think those lessons have been well and truly learned. Also he is more guarded in what he says - I think when he says something these days it is far more considered and less from the hip. So yes - a staunch supporter- I’ll sign up to that.

ID78 - also just to point out the front team photo on the deck Robbie was holding appears to be the same as on Elizabeth's twitter picture highlighting the event. So if Robbie has been using this today it obviously will not contain anything that we haven't already been told in strict market information terms but I look forward to seeing what material is being put out there to attract new fish - I have already been caught and I'm in the KEEP net!

Hi ID78 - no I wasn't there but I watched the whole interview online - Mark referenced the presentation at 10.12 and Robbie held what looked like to be a presentation ring bound deck to the camera.

Logical ID78 - my money is on a combo of 3 & 4.
As an aside does anyone know how many big heap leach pads are going to be constructed? - at 7.42 Robbie mentions pad 4 being one of the first big heap leach pads....

Hi Suggins - the good news is that they are spending money that they are currently making (confirms at 7.05) and as for the funding deal, lets hope it will be that they will be forward selling gold - non dilutive. Remember everyone knows what can and can not be given as security and so all parties are going into this with far better understanding of what is required and what can be delivered.
I keep picking up on different things on re-listening to the interview - another important note for me is that the high grade zone will greatly enhance the economics of the expansion according to Robbie - so the business case from Caracal's perspective has got a lot stronger and this coincides with a higher POG as well. From my arm chair this is looking better and better.

New presentation was in Robbie’s hands. I expect we will get it shortly. As for the big plan - remember they have engaged an independent firm - it was mentioned in the last RNS - it will be coming!

Output - lets not dwell 24K oz - lets focus on 50K oz
Resource feed - forget 180 days think 13 months (they know where the gold is for short term and expansion - 800M out of 1900M currently - 13 months is just the start in my personal view)
Forget about expectations - lets think about exceeding expectations!
Next step the share price catches up - forget about getting back to where we were - think about getting beyond to X! Insert your own figure here!
